(shorter if you account for 20% dmg bonus against armor :P) thats not a good way to tell if someones using a modded controller sir... im calling that one paranoia. the way to tell if its modded isnt in how fast they kkill you, but in how they fire. typically in a very repetative fireeing patterns with the ocasional stutter due to shot clipping (becuase they suck at programming enough delay to prevent it most of the time) Minmatar is Winmatar Creed of the Minja - "I'm a leaf on the wind" I am Chances Ghost

There is no arguing that there are plenty of them out there and the combat rifle is definitely a weapon that it is super obvious. That would be the part of my statement that falls under "different matchmaking" because for some reason or another you get grouped with those people. I suppose you could take it as a compliment that Scotty sees you as having matching stats to people that are essentially cheaters. Yea I feel like the long range kills are the most obvious mod users. Not every long range kill is the result of one but you will know it when it happens lol. So my trigger finger is good... but boy do I love the hate mails when I get them. Occasionally I see someone who is suspicious... i.e. using SCR a d never charges a shot, just spams it. I can't say that I know of anyone on DUST who I think is a cheater though. Think back to MAG, anyone remember ZBake? Yeh what a beast right? Only when you're bleeding out next to him on the ground (remember you could control the camera when you're bleeding out?) and I could see his T1 sniper rifle firing like an assault rifle, the animation was messed up, I stared at the barrel of his gun and the rounds were zooming out, the sound effects kept stopping and starting too. If you see someone's gun messing up, the bullets aren't firing or are firing so fast that the muzzle flash doesn't appear properly and the sound effects are glitchy, then it could be lag but they could be cheating too. it's disappointing to know that people cheat.
