You still get guardians, just a thought :P I was thinking of this myself just today. I saw someone else suggest a hardener type rep tool as well.
That idea was here before, i remember thread from last year with similar thingy. But im still not sure how it will work without proper balance.

I wish that game was better haha, such a cool concept. I like this better. Not really keen on weapon buff mechanics that give a greater incentive to camp tactics. Would it work in dust by stopping shield and armor regen? Longer chain than current lai dai rep? This tool could also neutralize people being reped by logi repairers.
From other side pure logies like me will be even in smaller amount, because repping will lost it sence. Everyone will basicaly go for antirep/boost tool.

Shoot the person neutralizing your heavy or gimp (the nuet is lit up and exposed without a weapon), or have the heavy take cover and break their link. Simple.

You know most of boyos will go for this and reptool will be basicaly banished to helvete. If this will be implemented i want balance ergo boost for my reptool and implement of heatup for this "boost tool".

Oh you mean something like "reptool stream negator" (name can be "Nanite Swarm Negator"/NSN tool), that is actually looks interesting and have more sence than "boost tool".

Yes, negates a rep tool, 1 to 1 in terms of powers. Say rep tool gives 70hp/s the equivalent nuet tool would negate 70hp/s. If you don't have a rep tool beam on you, the nuet tool will simply stop that suits shields and armor from regeneration.
The mechanix of reptool working on two beamed stream of low laser. I do not get how will that thingie negate 70hp/s if my stream do not anything to suit/clone.
What about simply stop shield and armor regen (with or without reptool beamed on yourself?). It makes more sence to me.

I remeber burning/blinding/slashing blinded times especially in raven sabo (that was awesome). But MAG had different rep/heal mechanix (medkit for ppl and reptool for instalations, towies, vehicles, gates, burout towies etc.)
