To my understanding, with the exception of the Sentinel, every dropsuit you could possibly pick in this game has an Equipment Slot.
Where is this equipment at?
How am I playing so many matches with so little equipment being used by people? With each team having up to 16 people on it no team should run out of uplinks or nanohives.
I am starting to think that some people in this game do not even bother to fit something to their equipment slot.
What piece of equipment do people equip so much in this game that it makes uplinks, nanohives, and active scanners nonexistent in some matches?
I can't seem to understand what is going on with all of this. |

Depends what I'm doing, if I know we have no uplinks ill change to a a/1 series logi and drop pro links . But alto of the time I'm carrying rep hives and possible a needle

I always carry uplinks and or hives on all my suits. That is just me though.

I like that you will change fits to thrown down what the team needs; I do the same. I primarily run around with nanohives but I have a really quick, cloaked Scout I switch to so I can throw down uplinks if needed. I also have one of my assault fits with an Active Scanner I break out if things are getting real ugly for my team. |

well before, all us logis could spam the f**k out of equipment and no player would need worry about a spawn link or running out of ammo. then CCP introduced bandwidth and everyone pretty much ditched the logi's cos you couldn't farm WP's anymore so they went to using a scout with a six kin repper and a bunch of range amps and follow a heavy round to farm WPs instead.

Always run basic nanohives. You probably don't see it cuz I always use it up myself(Basically fills my weapons and grenades once then poof) |

I always drop links at the beginning of the match and replenish as needed when I die
Uplinks spawn less clones now
and also with scanning as it is, Equipment is very easy to spot and destroy |

I felt this way in a dom recently as well. We had 16, I was one of two heavies I saw on our side. There wasn't ammo or an uplink in the building. I had 2 guys repping me but wtf. I had to switch back to logi and show them how to do it by harvesting up team supplies and spawns like crazy.
I eventually had to go back to heavy to push the other team out. I was raging on comms with my squad of randoms, but you are right. Everyone had a rep tool or REs. I had to tell them to switch to links and be an assault with uplinks. No one thinks that uplinks are their job.
I hear all the PC raging going on over the rework, but that used to train guys on how to fill roles. I can't believe some of the blue berries now.
"Dying with your rep tool out - the logi-flasher!"
Who hasn't been caught by a cute little female scout doing this?

I have had so many games when I am the only one dropping equipment I have learned not to question the intricacies of the blueberry psyche.

Well as I stated in Aeon's Post about Post lvl-5 some blueberries I spoke to don't even know how to use their equipment.

Not everyone. Sents can't carry Hives and some logis (I know a few) think the assaults should help and drop ammo so instead they carry a second pair of uplinks or a needle.

I hadn't been playing Ambush for many months then recently I did and it was funny to see the nanohive disco party once all red clones were depleted, exactly as I recalled it from the past...
Be just and if you can't be just be arbitrary.

Ok, not everyone. I almost never carry hives on my logi. I just meant this is what I suspect many people do.
If I carry hives (normally on an assault), I always place one or two as soon as possible, for the team to use. I'm never going to get through 6 on my own. |

Typically, I start with a scout with pro uplinks, then Amarr logi with more uplinks. If a lot of vehicles come out I switch to pro commando so I can keep three uplinks going.
Acquisition is terrible, matchmaking is terrible, your game is still riddled with bugs, you should feel bad.

I have Nanohives and I only use them when I am close to expending my ammunition. When this occurs I find a barrier and stay behind it long enough to be adequately supplied.

I want the game to show actually WHO is around me with a needle, that way then they wander around aimlessly not using it, I can send em hate mail for costing me money.
Was in a match earlier, was low on armour and ammo, not one hive or rep tool.

You know that average player don't know 70% about this game.
Tutorials.. who would have though they will help. Not CCP, as you can see.
The other thing is that they're not really smart and probably think that somebody else will take uplinks instead of them.
