Hey man.
I don't know where you got that quote from the CPM but it seems false and I'd love to see proof because that's not how the CPM should be speaking to the community.
I can't even begin to understand how frustrating it might have been to have the Oceanic server shut down.
My only comparison would be when red wedding happened and I was at fanfest and I came back and my corp and many others I had friends in all packed up and left the game en masse over the next 2 weeks.
I lost almost all my closest advisors and directors in a sweep of change i was unprepared for.
It hurt a lot to log on for the next few weeks, and some of those people I had no other way to contact because stupid PSN limiting the friends list :(
I can't pretend to tell you that we can bring back the Oceanic server.
But I can tell you that if there's a lot of support for it, our job is to push that common agenda to CCP, even if we know the chances are slim to nil.
So if there are many others out there that would like the Oceanic server back please try to rally support around threads like this and make noise.
The squeaky wheel get the grease and I wouldn't be here if you hadn't made this thread.
Sure, it may have been more efficacious in rallying support for your cause if it wasn't poorly written emotion, but that's why I advise you to go find whoever you can, and get people to support the change.
Have a good one man.

Why is it that when i connected to the EU servers to go look for EU talent...I never experienced any of those issues you just described?
Of course i wouldn't tell you you're wrong. <3
I understand the conundrum of having your server silenced and then being given the suggestion to rally a cause to change things.
But that's the best and most tried and true way of getting changes implemented.
If someone has a better idea then by all means don't listen to this old geyser.
I'm just trying to offer help. =)

It's a matter of efficaciousness in the delivery of the message. Ok. Anyone know what this means? Simple English please. I come from a convict country that was stolen land by Englands democracy. Efficaciou... what the entire flux? Suppose, that and completly disregarding any of the statements I made in regard of the OP and turning it straight around into an 'we might do our jobs but the chance is nil' remind sme of the binary Legion crap. Speaking of? How's that working out? oh it's binary. *SMACKS MY HEAD. again, you didnt say I was wrong, all you did was misdirection Didn't work, Won't work. New CPM motto right there. He's telling you that if you don't say things the way CPM wants to hear it they will ignore you outright, as they feel this is justified since CCP outright ignores them. Or so I'd assume. You should be easier on CPM, they do voice up a lot against CCP, but what can you do when CCP constantly replies with, 'Can't"
No, but close?
That particular part meant that CCP is more likely to listen to your cries if they are well thought out posts that eschew rage.
It's not about saying things the way I want them to be said...lol otherwise I'd just have passed over this thread and ignored it.
I don't mind looking through the emotion for the point, but you're going to turn a lot more heads if they take you seriously and rage filled "CCP **** YOU, CPM **** YOU" posts aren't really the best way the entice people to do what you want.
I'm here trying to help him and he's telling me I have an ulterior agenda of misdirection.

Have fun :)
We present community sentiment on an issue.
So if I say hey there's a lot of community support for "X" and that community support is one dude's sperging making unsubstantiated attacks on the CPM among other accusations...then they aren't likely to listen.
They aren't likely to listen now because there's been aussie players that came in and contested the rolling disconnects..meaning it's not a pervasive issue that affects all players in that area until more opinions are gathered.
As I said from the beginning...if this is an issue then you need to rally a bunch of aussie players who experience this and I suggest getting a lot of people together to demonstrate large group support for this grievance/issue/etc.
But I've made my point and I'll let the thread take it's course.
Cheers
