Asking people to join Skype just for the purpose of giving feedback to a CCP Games product seems odd, when there's barely 1% of the playerbase engaging on the official forums, or when there is the dedicated TweetFleet slack.
Actually, Zaria, if you're all about interacting with players, why am I not seeing you on the TweetFleet slack?
Alternatively, if I/We were to offer to help you run a live town-hall meeting online, would you go for it, or support that future CPMs (within NDAs) participate in such on a regular basis? |

I've had to tell customers to stop calling into conference-calls using Skype - the quality has, every time, been ****-poor.
Having had a mandatory Skype install on work-computers, I've also seen just how much it impacts resource-usage, just from idling; since then, I've decided that I will not bother with Skype, since I have other things to use my computer for.
I am not opposed to CPM using Skype, I'm just looking for other channels (out-of-game) in order to engage CPM members in discussions.

There's currently 1247 people on the TweetFleet Slack, incl 26 CCP employees of which at least 9 are online. You may want to direct your comment to them, incl CCP for engaging their customers via this platform.
(Note: I'm finding the platform stupid, but have not evaluated it for IT security purposes or corporate usage)
Separately, I know people who are literally dying of cancer - I'll check with their oncologists whether they have been caught "Slack". |
