 No one ever mentions this.... if you want to nerf the scr you might as well take away the part that can kill the user, then fix whatever you feel like...

 But I like having the feedback damage so that in a gun fight I can steal 25 of the enemies points and rob them of the satisfaction of being on the kill feed.

 ... Why?

 In order to nerf this gun you want to remove it's biggest drawback?

 The seizing time is the worst part. The feedback damage is marginal at most.

 Remove an intentional nerf to alleviate the effects of an intentional nerf. Yeah...no. It's not exactly a major pain either. The only tweak in that sense I could be behind is a minor reduction to the seizure time after overheating. The damage should remain unchanged.

 Hmmm maybe a non damaging, longer seizing version could be a variant. People always say we need more variants for the scr...

 I think if we reign in the Scr then we should remove the ammo count and use the overheat as the ammunition count. If tou make the gun blow up in your face, you have to replace the focusing array and power supply.

 Come to think of it I think this should be what sets amarr weapons apart as a general guideline

 LR = 150 feedback DMG
 ScR = 50 feedback DMG

 If anything an increase would be nice
  so that ScR feedback is more than a scratch - removing it gives even more reason to just spam until overheat, and that is an issue already.

 derail the thread!! BUFF ScR feedback DMG!! SAVE THE WHALES!!

 this is something fairly silly to mention, the heat build up doesnt even matter on a pro Amarr assault which means you don't even have to worry about the feedback 90% of the time if anything its only a drawback to other races

 Which need's to be emphasized for other race's.
