The idea of these things is that it is a pirate complex like the ones you find in eve online. There are a bunch of PVE enemies in there, and you have to kill them. There could be a number of levels to it, and points where you can take any loot you found so far and leave. Loot could include regular weapons and gear in neat boxes, special weapons like officer weapons or special pirate faction weapons, blueprints, copies or originals. At the end, there is an especially cool thing that you can get. You can go solo or in a squad. The installations would be located on planets, not sure how you would find them. Perhaps someone can scan a planet looking for them and sell the location to the highest bidder, or an eve player could hire mercs to find eve related stuff. You will have to find your own clones, maybe buy them from a PC corp, or rent them with collateral. I understand that this could be far down the road, but it couldn't hurt to put the idea out there. This is my idea, any criticisms, complements or feedback would be appreciated.

Not sure if the OP properly conveyed what a Complex is in EVE though I supposed the term is more 'Dead Space Pocket' since I've never head a PvE Mission in EVE referred to as a complex.
In and FW sense a complex is a small pocket of space that can only be accessed through a jump gate within a system. The interior of a complex is simply a section of space containing a structure representing the main military infrastructure, a beacon, and an enemy of friendly vessel of corresponding size to the structure.
Players must orbit this structure within 40km unit they have exhausted the time on the complex claiming it for their faction. It's a hand little defensive position since specific sizes of plex have ship type limits and additionally because the jump gate provides a buffer before an enemy pilot engages you allowing you to scan them down and identify their vessel type.
Completing a plex yields LP modified by system tier status and is more profitable if the system in enemy held.
Missions in EVE which are different are usually a series of isolated 'Dead Space Pockets' in which a number of fluff structures and objects are contained. Usually found in Security missions you will also find NPC ships to fight or kill as well as jump gates ot move from one pocket to another.
Now on the main point Dust could use basic concepts like these to generate PvE missions either with players attempting to defend structures from enemy waves of various types and intensity drones like Complexes in FW or perhaps in elimination style areas with small or increasing redlines before using anomalies to jump to the next area.
