Interesting. How about squad missions, the entire squad has to accomplish an objective, and then everyone gets the reward? Whenever you create a squad, you get the secondary set of missions, one for you, one for the squad. How about corporation missions while we are at it? Only thing is that you need to prevent people from disbanding and reforming them to reroll for the missions that they want.

More keys and less boxes sounds good, although id like to just sell some boxes for isk, I had a horde from when there were even more boxes and even less keys. At least now we get one a day from winning a battle. Last time I checked, you got kill assists for vehicles. Finally, it should be duely noted that No-one-ganks like-Gaston was only providing examples, and every weapon and equipment should certainly have it's spotlight. Maybe the missions could loan/rent you aurum stuff that you haven't skilled into yet to try them out, although that would be difficult programming. All and all, good idea.
