I'm all about sidearm balance, as I really love running sidearm only fits, I'd honestly wish there were sidearm suit specialization in dust.
The bolt pistol is the number 2 sidearm but the gap between number 2 and number 1 is massive (BrSMG). Attacking the bolt pistol before the SMG seems to display alternative motives rather than balance because the first thing that comes to mind when I think of sidearm parity is equalizing the smg to the other sidearms.
That doesn't mean that sidearm parity wouldn't nerf the bolt pistol in a particular manner, but clearly not looking at the biggest offender in sidearm imbalance is suspect.
Nonono, you don't understand. You are never supposed to call kirk out on factional bias - everything that's gallente is underpowered (even when it's not) and everything that's caldari is overpowered AND bullshit. Listen and Believe, don't contradict the narrative. I mean look at how weak that gallente assault bonus is? It needs to be 200% range, 400% rate of fire and 10000% damage per level!
The bolt pistol does occasionally seem to have wierd magnetism on its hipfire though, but actually aiming it can cause utterly stupid misses cause wigglewigglewiggle & ferroscales (HOW DARE MY WIGGLEWIGGLE BE NERFED BY ACTUAL ARMOR PLATES!)

Also lol the hypocrisy and doublestandards in "When i talk about SCR or buffing shields" cause when I do the same about AR, Gal assault or Ion pistol you show up to shout "YOU'RE NOT GALLENTE AND I DONT CARE IF YOU HAVE AN ALT THATS SKILLED INTO GALLENTE THINGS YOU DONT PLAY IT 52 HOURS A DAY! SO YOUR EXPERIENCE DOESN'T COUNT!".
It's kind of hilarious that a few people calling you out can reduce you to a gibbering caricature.

I don't mind kirk when he isn't being an idiot, unfortunately he seems to get some sort of perverse thrill out of missing the point which quite honestly makes him sound like an idiot quite frequently. Unfortunately Aeon, I am being pretty objective about this - kirk has historically demonstrated hilarious bias in the past.
I mean lets look back to the breach AR when it was overpowered, Kirk shows up screaming that absolutely nothing is wrong with it and it's fine, cause gallente ra-ra-ra-freedom!
Before you start making comparisons with me here, you might want to reread my initial post here (a couple of times, I know you can be a little bit slow and reading comprehension is hard) - I have outright said that the bolt pistol does seem to have weird magnetism at times: I am not in the process of denying what is clearly observable.
