Tell me about it I mean I know I'm genuinely one of those useless blueberries that everyone likes to hate but I've just been running a couple of weeks running unsynched Gal FW in a vague attempt to get my first shiny APEX. My win loss ratio stands at 0.14......
I'm not complaining mind, it is what it is and that's what happens in starter fits and FW.... Honestly though I'm not sure why I'm still going, but the fact that I'm still in starter suits and still playing the game probably says a lot about my computer game mentality.
For all the talk of competitive qsynching too much of it seems to come down to the opposite of that... otherwise qsynchers wouldn't leave battles opposite other qsynchers as much as they do and the good, top tier corps wouldn't follow each other from one faction to the next to, seemingly from the outside, deliberately avoid each other.....
We've also all seen what happens, in general, when two qsynchs meet.
It also totally negates the point of the grind aspect of FW for a large chunk of the community.
I get most of the peeps left in this game are buddies and want to play together but still.... It's compounded further coming on the forums and seeing the same people moaning about leaving battles or under performing suits, weapons etc. Underperforming? You should come down here and chum some of this sGÇóGÇóGÇó. (I know my perspective is somewhat different)
Again I accept that I'm useless, newish and a filthy casual and that I'm probably wrong about a lot of things but this is how it appears to me and I'm more than happy to be wrong and or educated..... Again I'm not complaining about being killed by protosuits, and or simply better players, it's how it works, I'll take the scraps I can get. The variety of fittings, playstyles and power levels on the battlefield is what makes this game for me. I've said it before, I'm happy to be a bullet sponge if it's a good match but not if I feel I'm simply helping someone elses KD.
Still on the bright side just 60 more defeats and I'll have an APEX. See y'all somewhere near the redline o7. |
