... and it didn't nerf the Scrambler Rifle? It's as simple as changing a few numbers in a spreadsheet, there is no reason for the SCR to have been this hilariously OP for this long, in fact it's just atrocious that this very painfully obvious imbalance continues to torment us.
I know you need time to work out a proper solution to create some semblance of balance, but it's just been too long now. It only takes one match to realise that 1000 damage from 70 meters in 0.3 seconds is not fair, so why has it just been left like this for so long?
Every single person I've spoken to about, or heard speak about, the SCR has said exactly the same thing: It's OP. So please - even if it's just a temporary change whilst you do all your notoriously half-arsed "testing" and stuff - reduce that damage, or RoF, or both maybe?

"It" here would apparently be referring to every change you've just suggested. You'll notice however, that this thread was started with the intention of altering only the ScR. But you just mentioned multiple changes, several of which are virtually entirely unrelated, followed by "It's a big task."

So, whether or not I agree with the OP, stating that the task requested will take some time, but then also including approximately 7 other tasks within that; it just doesn't really hold up.
