it is kinda terrible he has to start over when he has access to the database and can change players names, give himself isk, sp, and items...

When you are a game developer personal accounts are meh. It is good that he plays the game but he needs to be freely able to test all weapons, all suits. Being limited by constantly playing on a limited personal account is well limiting and would hold dust back. Starting over is never an option.. I do not believe Ratatti is as clueless and helpless as you seem to believe he is. He loses almost nothing, only thing he loses might be friends/connections he made on that alt if he has to change a name or swap out characters.
