Hello everyone!
As you know, with Warlords 1.1 we have introduced a brand new feature - Dropsuit SKIN Modules which have been very well received. Now, we are expanding these modules into the Loyalty Store.
Here are a few screenshots of these SKIN modules that you will be able to find in your Loyalty Store of choice, and we hope you like what you see. If you do, log in and get your hands on them right away!

These are not paid skins (which is already awesome enough), these you can earn via normal gameplay and they are not expensive at all if you play game normally in FW game mode. It is like saying WoW item is too expensive if it costs gold. Just sit down and play the game and buy skin of your choice.

They're not appealing to me at the price and I have a mil LP across all factions, but to eat up 100k for a camo. I play BF4 and I can earn a camo a match,but in dust its a week long endeavor. Just because I can earn this in game doesnt make it likeable to me, because skins are so common in any other game.Thats all.

A buddy of mine has lp skins and cannot be seen in warbarge will this be fixed so it can be seen besides in battle would love to show of my loyalty to the state while playing fac war and pcs |

Price aside, the Minmatar ones are alright, I have no problem with them.
The Caldari ones aren't awful.
The Gallente ones are gorgeous. The color just really works with the models -- especially the medium.
The Amarr ones look much better than devblog images lead me to believe. I don't dislike them.
Good work. My only real complaint is that some of the textures look pixelated; mainly the Amarr light's shoulders, and and the black metallic parts leading up to the Amarr medium's shoulders. The Caldari heavy's "eye" lights have the same problem, but that's like that on the default colors as well, so not the SKIN's fault.

SKINs look nice, as if they were not colored in with crayons by a kindergartner. Those prices though... Too bad it seems I'll never get one.
Oh, you say, but you can go use player trading once SKINS are allowed into the player economy! Nope. Not happening.
Who in their right mind would buy a SKIN to put up for market when APEX suits cost the same, and due to their TANGIBLY BENEFICIAL NATURE as a BPO, will in all probability be in more demand?
With what little I know of supply/demand and other economic factors, I'd say the *SKIN trade will be dead on arrival. [edit:LP/FW SKIN trade, to clarify]
But hey. They look nice. Which is cool, I guess.

Love my Republic Marine skins. Also really like that they are slightly different on different tiered suits. ie: my proto/apex with the skin has more black and darker colors in general, while adv and std are slightly brighter or lighter. Thx CCP.
I don't like two-legged things.

All the skins look really good.
But the trading of those skins will be severly limited because of a few things:
its too expensive in many players opinions, thus not many will buy the LP skins, this increases rarity and thus it will also increase the normal trading price tag enormously compared to default price on the NPC faction LP store.
the APEX suits cost just as much LP as skins and thus the skins will have there likely hood of having rarity increased more because players will likely be incentivized more to buy APEX suits compared to skins. APEX suits also indirectly give you a skin (APEX suits look different to normal suits)
LP is harder to earn thus the prices will be much higher, 1 LP = approx. 1000 ISK in amarr Faction Warfare, this makes ISK trades for skins very expensive by default (100 000 LP = 100 000 000 ISK by default)
The rarity (and the opinion that APEX suits are better because they provide a skin and a ISK suit BPO) would probably increase its price to approx (500 Million ISK to 1 000 000 000 ISK) which is a 5x to 10x ISK cost multiplier
I only have 170 million ISK.

It would suck if some Cal scrub could easily get hold of a fed item. |
