I have added this thread to the list of links to current Sentinel topics in The Bastion thread.
The Bastion is a thread for Sentinels to discuss Sentinel topics as well as serving as a focus group for Sentinels, just as The Barbershop acts as a discussion and a focus group for Scouts.
Hand/Eye coordination cannot be taught. For everything else there is the Learning Coalition.

That sounds like it is just where it should be. We would not want it competing with the Forge Gun. The AHMG is still supposed to be primarily an anti infantry weapon, while the Forge is primarily AV. The crossover on both weapons make them fun though.

There you go being pessimistic on the wrong account again. 
The AHMG is supposed to be sub par as AV. It is also supposed to be sub par in CQC. It seems to be effective at anti infantry at 30 to 40m though, which is its primary purpose. AV is its secondary role, and it is primarily meant for killing LAVs, not HAV's. That is why killing a HAV with it is so satisfying!
