What I mean by this is that it would be a cool little feature if each race had a certain ability that could be used once every twenty kills. EXAMPLES OF HOW THEY COULD BE
Caldari: Extreme precision, would have no kick whatsoever for their weapon and their optimal range for their weapon becomes it's effective range.
Gallente: God's Eye, gives merc double the scanning range and they have better Db Precision.(EXAMPLE: 20 Db to 10 db)
Amarr: Royal Proctection, basically gives them immunity to damage for their armor temporarily. So RE's and Core grenades won't do squat.
Minmatar: Tribal boost, Doubles their stamina, strafe, backpedal speed, walking speed, sprint, jump, and stamina regen.
These might seem very overpowered and they should be, I think. What do you guys think? Yay or nay? |

Well, that is kind of the function of racial bonuses on dropsuits. The bonuses should reflect the racial flair of that race. Now how well this is actually executed in suit bonuses is often sketchy, but the intent is there.

but logis need to have a special abillity an increase in range of the rep or a 3rd link rep line

This will be for all suits, not a specific one. so this will affect logi's as well. min logis can catch up to assaults that its repairing and amarr logis can set up links while being invulnerable to that redlining thale sniper. you get the idea now? |

No thanks. The whole point of no racial bonuses is that you aren't Min Maxing based on your race. Any race can be just as good as any other, though they may have to dip into other races gear to do so for a particular role.
Introducing racial bonuses is always a slippery slope, especially in a game like this. Much better to just make racial gear have more flair to it.

I don't see the point, as we already have this through suit bonuses. Also, these are OP as ****, hell no.

Would this be for the race of the suit or the actual character. Not a good idea. People will do what they did in EVE when races got starting skills and atteibutes GÇô everybody went Caldari Achura.

The only way this would be fair is if everyone could use them without any requirements, and just have it be a once per battle ability, otherwise only the people who are really good would get to use them very often and it would make them even better. |

Heeeeell no. I believe in Eve, CCP used to give each bloodline its own starting skills, and they didn't even like that for some reason.
Although I wouldn't be opposed to bringing back the old class system Dust had which helped NPE that way. A player chose their class at character creation, which changed what skills they start with, as well as giving them 50 sets of standard equipment they now have the skills for. For example, if someone chose "artificer", they would be able to use standard logi suits (basic suit bottlenecks didn't exist), as well as standard repair tools, nanite injectors, SMGs, and etc. Ofc would need to be modified to match the race now, as that was before racial parity.
Some details can be ignored

....are you ******* daft? In New Eden you do not have special powers for being of a certain race....you are just a normal immortal 2.5m tall super soldier.
