After much internal debate I've decided to attempt to foster a vehicle user community, in a similar vein to the other 'community' threads that have popped up.
I've always kind of felt that even though they're all in the vehicle class, issues that affect dropships affect them in rather different manners than those of ground vehicles so I've opened this area with ground vehicles more in mind, this does not preclude discussion of dropships in any manner though. This is not an area to argue and I expect discussion to follow the guidelines of rational debate and according argument tiers.
I don't want this area to collapse into a neutron star of hatred, tears, butthurt and flamewars. Please express your thoughts and opinions in constructive manners, if you cant be bothered to be reasonable about things don't post here. I'm not planting a sign and outright saying "NO FUN ALLOWED", but dear god everyone knows the flamewars that have happened before, let's try not to repeat them.
Anti-vehicle users and 'passengers' are welcome so long as they're respectful and kindly exit vehicles when we want to recall, relax or we somehow spontaneously catch fire.

Started this game with full intentions of being a shield tanker... back before I knew they were terrible, simply because of how awesome one person on youtube made driving a tank look.

I'm against Manufactorum simply because we don't make the vehicles. We drive them. Legio Machina isn't too bad though.
That said I was kind of looking at it like "Dust was supposed to be about the footprints in sand/dust representing infantry... have you seen what heavy treads do to sand?"

By the way while I support your initiative you an I both know and agreed that this will not work because as tankers we hate all other vehicle pilots with a burning passion.
Well the upside to the seething resentment of other vehicle users is that it should probably prevent it from becoming an echo-chamber where we all constantly promote the same idea.

So, point of discussion: How do you guys feel about CPU/PG chips?
Personally I loathe them, they feel like a slot tax in that in order to create a 'competitive' fit for a few dropsuits and a ton of vehicles you have to fit a cpu/pg chip, I'd much rather fits be balanced around not having these things rather than there being a few outlier fits that were 'too good' so they got slapped with mandatory useless slots.

Got to have a few matches earlier with a dropship where I moved people around and it was *gasp* fun.
I'm kind of enjoying acquisition matches for vehicle play, aside from the fact that it's reallllly easy to go through a lot of vehicles on it.

Just encountered a 'bug'(?) where I had my ps3 freeze upon my tank exploding. Wasn't too happy with it as it happened in a FW match that my side won.

I ran over a hostile dropship with a tank in the one match I played today... he came into my redline for some reason as I was swapping over to a forge gun
