Dear CEO's and Directors,
Now that we have trading, and soon enough open up the rest, a big opportunity in helping our new bros is to send them stuff.
Also to organize logistics before matches.
Therefore, I would like to be able to offer competitive ISK loadouts for you to buy and send. Even PC fits, that could be named as such (Elite or something)
First of all, come up with cool names and also the fittings. The restriction is still to keep racial weapons.
A new player can then get a care package, inspect is loadout with show info and get going out of the box.

My recommended PC fits:
Name: Imperial Protector std amarr assault: std Scrambler rifle PRO dampener PRO Core grenades adv repair nanohive std breach SMG (I personally use a magsec with prof 4 and optimization 4, reload 3, ammo 2) std armor plate adv reactive plate krins dmg mod
I think players would usually have enough fitting space assuming they have max suit skill and a moderate lvl 2 or 3 core skills (PG and CPU upgrade skills)
Name: Imperial Phalanx or Imperial Guardian or Imperial Elite Protector PRO amarr assault suit: PRO scrambler rifle PRO dampener PRO precision enhancer krins damage mod PRO light weapon damage mod (I personally use a sidearm dmg mod) 2x adv plates PRO reactive plate adv cardiac regulator (I personally use a PRO kinetic catalyzer) adv repair nanohive PRO core grenades
Name: Silent Avalanche or Stealth Juggernaut std amarr sentinel std HMG std bolt pistol (I personally use a magsec SMG) 3 PRO dampeners adv M1 locus grenade (you should behave like a pseudo scout)
Name: Swift Judgement PRO amarr sentinel PRO HMG (I use a burst HMG) adv bolt pistol (I use a magsec SMG) 2 PRO Dampeners (I would personally use 3 PRO damps) PRO Core grenades adv repair module adv Plate krins dmg mod (I personally use a PRO precision enhancer)
These fits should allow players to use them without having a high probability of not having the needed Core SP skill levels etc

This is almost what I feel should be the standard 'frontline' suit for rookie players as I find they most often have issues surviving to return damage upon their foes.

Honest Question, why send things like PC fits / 'Compettiive' isk loadouts to new players if they dont have the skills unlocked to run them?
Forget the weapons and hp modules, if you haven't unlocked the Mk.0 Logi with 4 Pro equipment (5 maxed out skill trees in total) then my competitive fit is useless. Unless... Are you removing skill requirments to traded goods or isk loadouts? So I can have an Assault Ak.0 from the market?
Or areyou mimicking the same excercise for role specific frames as the Basic frames? In which case, you just need to add an extra module here or there, depending on the race. I do use the Loadouts handed over in missions, they're pretty well set up.
I can't tell you what to fit on the suits though, I have PG and CPU maxed, so what i can fit will be much more advanced than what new player s can fit.

That's right, we all have some good fittings, for PRO or ADV, but almost all use lvl.5 pg/cpu,all kind of fitting reductions and a lot of lvl.5 modules.

new players in your corp doesn't mean new players, they may have skills to use those. And then it's less management than buying everything off the shelf and fitting.

I would love to have a fitting archive option. When you select "create new" it brings up the list of frames as it does now, with the option to toggle to the marketplace, but there would be a few other toggleable options. You could select "Saved fits," "Corporation fits," and possibly even a "Community Fits" section that CCP could curate from a thread like this. If you select an existing fit you would have the option to "Save fit." From this a popup appears, you could "save to my fits", or "save to corp fits" (only available if you have the role in your corp). Additionally, you could send a fit to another player from the context menu. I'll update this post with some UI mockups just to make things more clear.
Best PvE idea ever!

If those Loadouts are for new players from your own corporation, I think simple communication and advices from corp-mates would be better than pure loadout transmission. This game is about testing out things and finding your own way. Loadout would be useless in that optic.
If those Loadouts are for new players "globally" as a target to skill into, I think a skill tree rework would be more accurate (I think about what was presented one year ago at Fanfest). Another way (maybe simple) would be a video tutorial set presenting the selected suit strong points / weaknesses and how to effectively fit them. |

This is a better approach. Honestly I think trying to build PC fits is a waste of time. The meta changes and no one will agree on what the best fit is always, especially sticking to racial guidelines. That's not how you build a PC fit.

If there're going to be sample fits from various tiers, I recommend a naming convention to make it easy for new players to understand what is from what tier.
Here are some fits. If anyone wants to call them 'Elite', 'Soldier', or whatever denoting tiers instead of the designations I have, whatever. The complex fits can be fairly tight, as they assume good fitting skills.
Yes, a lot of fits have a strong factional theming. No, I am not fitting combat rifle on Amarr assaults. Regardless, this should serve as a decent guideline for fittings. Yes, SMG is the sidearm I'm recommending for nearly everything.
Obviously, this doesn't include every single fit ever. I'm only putting down a couple of viable flavours for each suit. Attempting to do every single viable permutation would take literally years. Also, in a lot of cases the light weapon is down to preference - it's more about the bulk of the fitting. For instance, the difference between a combat rifle and an assault combat rifle is largely down to preference. I have assumed assault weaponry where this is true, however.
I've done a full set of assault fittings. Do you want more?
Sidenote: Selling prefits will never keep up with the PC meta. It's fine to have viable prefits available but wanting them all to be PC viable isn't really doable.

Would they require skills to use? I thin they shouldn't to get noobs a chance to try PC or high end fits by finding a helpful merc/corp to guide them and give them this gear. There should also be a limit or cool down time so that you can't spam them to an alt if they cost less than the normal fit. They could also just be generated by *Corp Warnarge* or some system for a low price and given to Directors and CEOs to donate.
I don't know if I have this right or if I fully understood it but here. I'll add more later.

First I'd suggest a LogiLAV fitting, and a name (Torq...), but since we have no LogiLAVs....
Secondly, I think you're encroaching on territory that should be covered by 3rd party tools - The various fitting-sites have support for sharing fittings, and comparing/checking to a user's skills. Let the 3rd parties gain better support instead, and they can cover this very well and smoothly; corps can set up their own fittings, share them with newbros along with a stock-pile of equipment, and the newbros can see what skills they still need to train to be able to use the specced fittings.
I do like the notion of ISK-based fittings, coming from the player-base, but perhaps no PC-spec'd? |

Another thing. For me playing with fits is part of the fun in this game, i agree with help new players, but there are a plenty of ways in game to test fittings and see if you like it, i would not give isk bundle to players, the risk is to create a golden standard which is not good for the game imo.

Is there any posibility for a Corp, do only one fit, name it and "produced" in a District ? for selling to the news corps members, new players or alliance ?
Basic - advance fits only.
If the corp lose the district, the lose the production... and no more ISK incomings.
Cloning generation only in Warbage-corp
Maybe some basic - advance variaty of weapons... more ammo -less damage or more damage - less ammo etc.

About the loadouts we already have, can you double check the combat advanced loadouts we have now? I'm not sure if is just my skills or if they really don't need the upgrades anymore (after the last hotfix, which increased their base cpu/pg)
/*Offtopic, is possible to add burst and tactical standard variations, this could help some improvement in strategies for new bros trying to get some activity with all the possible strategies a gallente fit can give..*/
About new Loadouts... the loadouts suggested by Arkena seems all good, balanced and reliable :) |

Prefits for sentinels are tricky. Back in the day you expressed interest in using existing art assets to make new heavy weapons.
That would make recommendations for elite and lower loadouts hella easier to make recommendations for.
I'm going to sit here and stare at you. I want you to imagine ratatosk chattering in your ear all knowledgy-like to sway you into making this happen.

I cant really see this working at all for PC. That meta is so different from pub meta. You need custom tailored fits for your specific role and skills as a player. Cant shoot? No problem! Learn the basics of flight and take over watch with a commando. Scrub links in a speed tanked assault or use a gal logi to light up fukers on the map like its xmas.
Still cant shoot? Drive a tank. Cant aim a shotty worth a dam? Try a breach AR instead. Idk its part of the beauty of DUST to customize everything based on your specific needs and skill set.
But to be in the spirit of this I would recommend that whatever PC fits you assemble, have viziam flux uplinks and flux grenades. Unless your name is Kalante, you should probably stay away from the nanohives buddy. We all know b*tches get smoked way before they ever need ammo.
