PLEASE remove the Loyalty rank restriction or at least decrease it. It is ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE to reach LR 4 without buying AURUM, I have already spent $30 on AURUM and gear in Dust514 and still am only at rank 3 1/2.

I've played about half a dozen acquisition matches and really enjoy it. However all of the matches, except for one, was the train yard map. Are all the maps in the acquisition map rotation? |

Fairly certain its been tested that $20 in AUR spent will get you to rank 4.
Bear in mind BUYING AUR does not increase you loyalty rank, you actually have to spend it for it to count. So even AUR rewards from daily logins and the upcoming event could help you up your loyalty rank.

After a whole evening of acquisition, i like the idea, but all the matches has been incredibly one sided and not fun to play. Maps are too little and players too much for that kind of game mode, 8 vs 8 would work better.

Many things about the market really bothers me in an OCD kind of way, and likely cause confusion among players.
Please clean up the "Visual Customization" section of the market. Skins are the only true visual customization items, and thus are the only things that should be there. BPOs, including the Apex ones belong in a separate category for BPO suits, weapons, and equipment called "Non-consumables".
On the subject of the Market, the "Loadouts" subcategories is inconsistently labeled. It should be categorized by frame size, or by role, but not both. The categories are assault (role), logistics (role), scout (role), and heavy (frame size). Be consistent. Like the regular dropsuit sections of the market, have frame sizes, and within frame sizes have the different specializations (ex: inside heavy, there are option tabs for basic, sentinel, and commando).

Acquisition can turn out to be a spawnkilling fest. The Ground spawns in particular are not deep enough in the redline or are not in the redline at all. If some 1 pulls off a successfull Q-sync in that mode and ignores the objective they can push the enemy back into their groundspawn and kill them for hours. Cause there is no time limit nor is there a clonecount to prevent such behaviour. You literally can die where you spawn with 0 chance of a escape. Honestly ratatti you should add on all maps a second spawnpoint.
Competent players will like this mode due to the fact that you can exploit the fact that there is no escape from the groundspawn. Just look back into the closed beta where people spawned tanks ontop of a rooftop just so they are capable to spawnkill the opposition at their groundspawn.
I make the scrubs scream and the vets cry.

My initial thoughts after a few Acquisition matches are that the mode is really enjoyable and the matches have been very entertaining with interesting little twists that have made me think differently about how I approach the fights.
I think in a more organised setting the game mode will be much more tactical as players need to come up with strategies that allow them to tear down enemy positions, set up on top of them, and execute a hack at the right time to interrupt their Pt gains, especially late in the timer.
However I noted the game ended very suddenly at the 700-750 Pt mark which kind of shocked me the first time because the fights were getting really good. I'd honestly like to see this mode in FW as the primary mode with much higher Pt values and variants with singular and multiple mobile objectives.
SKINs mean little to me at the moment as I simply don't understand the purpose of the Legacy SKINs beyond that they improve performance somehow but convey no meaningful visual differences for a really high price tag. Will look at the Imperial Marine SKIN's though if the price tag is as high as the others I can't afford them.
I love the fitting screen lay outs. Makes changes so much easier for me to adjust fits on the fly.
Still don't really know how I feel about the whole thing though.

Something I have been doing piecemeal, the frames and the sizes, dropsuits vs frames, fittings vs loadouts, on UI screen at a time.

Sometimes we get a notification we received a traded items but a lot of the time we don't get the notification someone sent us a item. I am in USA my CEO in Canada we didn't get any notification of trade with each other. I am in USA my corp mate in UK I received notification he did not. |

Skins are a little too steep, I think you'd see more sold to players if the price was a little lower, you could then pump out more with the profits, I understand you having set marketing price level you need to follow to make the the free to play game profitable but game like league and dota got to where they are by having there skins cost 5 euro a pop. if you make them cheep the sales will come.
Would be nice to see a sample model of the skins in the shop screen before purchase, this would also encourage sales.
In Acquisition the panel locations are sometimes in the red zone and are also far too close to each other between one activation and another. if a panels timer runs out the next one SHOULD be on the other side of the map and not 20 steps away.
Acquisition victory or defeat screens are boring. the game mode is based on securing the panels for network control of the area. don't tell us we won because we got lots of points. tell us we won because we've secured the region or have most of the control of the network. something tangible in eve, immerse us
Upon opening 10 lockboxes at once I "think" I received a rare item but there was no discernible difference between it and other items. This feature is missing the same "YAY" factor found in most other games, make the rare items "shiny" or have a gold lining. something to indicate its rarer then a common reward.

Aquisition should have shorter node timers. 3 minutes is totally fine and decreasing the points per seconds to 1 pt./2 secs. Which will make the game last longer and will encourage people to fight for the points instead of knowing that the enemy containing the point for more the 2 times has already won. As of right now, it's a dom where people hack the point and then it's just an ambush from there on end.
And the nodes should really be in more tactical and spread out positions. Right now, they're all 90-150 meters from each other so it's just a quick sprint or ride to the next node. I do find it fun, but it's too easy and too much like a hybrid offspring of ambush and domination.
TL:DR Make the timer every 3 minutes. Make the points accrued every point per 2 seconds. Spread the nodes out more and in more tactical positions. Make the nodes worth while to protect instead of scattering out and go "ambush mode"

Only played 1 aquisition game (I am guessing the first one ever since I was up at login time, downloaded, and jumped right into Acquisition to try it.) so I don't want to speak to much to it. Here are my initial thoughts:
1: I disagree with the people talking about vehicle spam ruining it. My team did not pull out a single vehicle. They had, at 1 time, an ADS, 2 tanks and a LAV running around. We still won the match because we had some good AV'ers. So I wouldn't be too quick to jump on the "no vehicles" bandwagon.
2: I agree about the distance between points. I played on the raised platform with the catwalks overlooking the main section (don't know map names, sorry) It seems to me the points could have been spread out MUCH further than they were. It was too easy to go from 1 to 2 to 3. The idea of "spreading out" isn't viable because it just isn't that far between.
3: I think either the point total should be increased or the amount at each "station" should be decreased. It seemed to me it was a really close match (lead changed 3 different times) and at the end of the third point it was game over. Even if we shorten each location to 3 minutes to make the game 15 minutes total, that would be fine. Unless this particular match only had 3 points, in which case I take back my comment.
Overall, I like the franticness and chaos of it. There was a lot more infighting and at least one instance where we had an 8 v 8 gunfight going on in a 20-30 meter area on the platform. It was intense!

On a different topic, the Skin prices are way too steep. I know personally I won't be shelling out any Aurum on them unless the price is slashed by 50% or more. I'm not paying $10 for cosmetics, especially when I don't even get to choose the style of cosmetics. I have only Caldari loadouts so I only get one option right now.

Looking at the various levels of fittings with sections is a nice change.
I suggest using the L2/R2 triggers to select between the top of the previous/next section. Then one can start with favorite, selecting medium with two R2 triggers or light with one L2.
Not having the two systems match is a problem as well. The display in the battlefield still lets me use my fits being named with a leading number. Thus the number is the most important aspect in battle so I can get to the appropriate choice.
If you do change the battlefield version, please consider using my suggestion of L2/R2. During battle the new selection method does nothing for those that focus on medium suits.
My favorite tank is a Lightning. Just sayin.

I just finished my first acquisition with 65WP and 0 SP. We were 13v10 with 10v2 at the end. Dude, there is nothing to do. Nobody to kill, wound or shout bad words at. We ran around looking but only four players made any SP.
Guess who isn't selecting acquisition in my battle finder. The 'my' should tip you to the mystery answer.
The more ways you limit the ability to earn SP, the less fun this game is.
My favorite tank is a Lightning. Just sayin.

I like the idea of the new fittings menu but right now it seems very cumbersome
because of the way dropsuits are shown in battle, I name my suits alphabetically - not by whether they are a heavy, medium or light frame
Trying to name suits fits takes a lot longer and is very confusing
Enable us to select between views. Have a "classic" view for what we are normally used to and what we see when we deploy in battle
And also allow us a second view and also allow us to switch around the heavy - medium - light groupings.
Also creating a fit takes a lot longer now as the menus have added extra unnecessary steps
Selecting armor for example is a chore. I have to select armor, plates, or ferrous or reactives- these should all be in the same grouping. Armor repair is also in a strange spot.
Instead of these multiple subgroupings, just simplify so for example:
- clicking on armor shows all armor related items. - Clicking biotics shows kin cats, myofibs, and cardiac regs - when fitting a medium frame and i click the light weapon slot I am shown only light weapons NOT a submenu where I then have to select light weapons
The "old" system was not perfect but I didn't have to start guessing at which category a certain item is in. I could just scroll down and find it. It took me a lot longer to put some fits together today.

In italian this is particularly annoying because the substantive goes after the subject. EG: shield extender complex

Skins: I like that you can now customize the look of your suits but when buying a skin you cant see what color or Patten it is so its kinda a stab in the dark if u want it or not. Also apex suits Have the skin slot but you can't edit the suits. Can we change the color of them in a later date? Without being able to change anything else ofcourse. Suit layout When creating a suit its now organized into heavy, meduom and light. But how ever when you change suit at a depo in a battle the suit list is as before. Intended or not?

As in if the module has a higher meta level than value X it will not fit in this slot kind of thing.
