No. We went away from the increasing slot layouts for a reason with HAV's (even though I still don't agree that we should have added tiers in the first place). No reason we should go back. Also, keep in mind, we don't just have Armor and shield LAV's, we have Gallente and Caldari LAV's, with Amarr and WInmatar ones coming SOONtm.

We can't rely on SOONtm so for now all we have is Armor a d Shield
1: Rattati hasn't cheated us out of **** yet, so I doubt that.
2: Pretty sure there is a Gallente tag tied to my Methana. Nope.
3: Making a layout design suitable for a Gallente hull is the best thing to do if it's made to act like a Gallente hull. Saying "No, because Amarr ones don't exist yet" Doesn't cahnge that.

This would be a nice little buff that would reward training LAV skills. But I think it would be sort of redundant. Rat Pack just gave the LAV more DB to be killed easier and even gave an HMG bonuses to kill the thing lol
And every pilot who uses LAV's said that it was a bad idea, and still thinks it's a bad idea, because he didn't place slots down. It was intended to make it so LAV's couldn't simply drive around unfitted and be good enough. Now, that's not even the case fitted.
