I figure why not start a list; even if CCP doesn't do crap about the bug, or the players using it, might as well call them out. Was thinking simple their character name, and what they were doing that was worthy of shaming. (using jumping as a combat mechanic is annoying, but i don't consider that QUITE the same douchebaggery as those who intentionally use it to abuse map designs. Please don't nominate someone just for jumping up and shooting you.) List so far: Adam 2167 - Stacking 4+ Fibs to jump directly on the big round buildings that SHOULD require a dropship to get up on.

I have this love hate thing, where i love Dust, but i hate the developers who are downright dumb enough to design a game where people run top gear and big squads all fcking day long in the pub matches, and people like me who just want to hop on, duke it out in a few fair matches and then call it a night get completely shafted. I don't care what their papers say about who can afford what; In practice, something needs to be changed. I'm not proposing changing current pub matches, i'm proposing adding a pub option ONLY for people who DON'T have squads. Since that will never happen, i'll make do with something to keep my mind off of how shtty the stomping has become, by making a stupid list of people who only care about winning. ./rant

Even if it takes longer you'll have a more pleasant experience. In other words queing solo for 5 crappy matches or in a squad for 4 decent/good matches? I'd take the latter any day. Stuff to Trade? I tried to hold out on it, cursing and screaming the whole way but I finally started drinking from the blue bottles and now I can actually kill the japanese players on the american server who I can't even send hate mail too because google translate doesn't work for the language of the boxes (yea, I brought it up! it's a huge problem that ccp wont address and it's ruining the game! region lock or GTFO ccp!) they can't avoid splash damage like they can avoid taking damage from half the bullets that hit them. I don't see any shame in jump spamming explosives when other players are switching servers to give themselves an advantage. Call me racist or an SOB or a POS or a mooncricket or a pinktoe I don't really care. Get the foreigners off of the american servers and then I'll quit running dual flaylocks and two bluebottles.

He is using the Nerf AV logic, it should take 5 guys to take down one exploiter. If people are exploiting unbalanced game features, the best defense is be twice as skilled and hold down the one exploiter to push in their log ride. It shouldn't take this to fight back in this game, but if that is what people want, don't cry when those of us with mics and friends come take our turn with you. Ok, I hate REs and Blues. So I am going to use them until they stop me!

I normally don't believe in "FOTM", but you can tell when their WHOLE corp. starts using the same sh*t at the same time... Nonetheless, as annoying as it can be, it makes them an easy target and they can't adapt to battle conditions while trying to exploit the hell out of something. I'll officially state it here in the forums though Ive said it in channels. if a guy is using 3 jumping modules hes not using 3 dmg mods and Im sure you'd complain about that too.Anyone using jump modules has made themselves actually less dps, less shield, congrats. You made your suit jump to sacrifice those 2 options for your fit and made it squishier than it could be. Jumping is just another option and is balanced by removing those 2 options from a suit that could either tank or dps harder than it currently is....... what exactly is it that you're complaining about? If you're just too slow to engage jumpers you should really quit. If they can jump over your head, they take damage when they hit the floor, AND they have less health because they fit so many modules. As i've stated previously, the part that bugs me is their ability to deal with dropship-placed uplinks without requiring a dropship also. That should change when CCP fixing the math on the myofibs, though.
