Hola! o/
Anyone besides me feel like keeping tabs on the little children who abuse game mechanics?
I figure why not start a list; even if CCP doesn't do crap about the bug, or the players using it, might as well call them out.
Was thinking simple their character name, and what they were doing that was worthy of shaming.
(using jumping as a combat mechanic is annoying, but i don't consider that QUITE the same douchebaggery as those who intentionally use it to abuse map designs. Please don't nominate someone just for jumping up and shooting you.)
List so far:
Adam 2167 - Stacking 4+ Fibs to jump directly on the big round buildings that SHOULD require a dropship to get up on.

Half joking, half for real.
I have this love hate thing, where i love Dust, but i hate the developers who are downright dumb enough to design a game where people run top gear and big squads all f*cking day long in the pub matches, and people like me who just want to hop on, duke it out in a few fair matches and then call it a night get completely shafted.
I don't care what their papers say about who can afford what; In practice, something needs to be changed.
I'm not proposing changing current pub matches, i'm proposing adding a pub option ONLY for people who DON'T have squads.
Since that will never happen, i'll make do with something to keep my mind off of how sh*tty the stomping has become, by making a stupid list of people who only care about winning.

I wasn't a particularly competitive player until recently, and i was doing better as a solo player before this matchmaking went haywire. I'm probably just upset because now that i actually CARE whether i win or lose, i'm losing more often than not.

I have no problem killing jumpers; i actually enjoy having them in the open so long.
As i've stated previously, the part that bugs me is their ability to deal with dropship-placed uplinks without requiring a dropship also.
That should change when CCP fixing the math on the myofibs, though.
