Thank you. LOL I was about start that thread. Good job on reading my mind. Lets be honest here though. Nearly every fps out is better then dust. CCP is just a bunch of fail developers and the eve community is just a bunch a bunch of fanboy ball suckers.
We have, in my opinion, the most dedicated playerbase of any MMO.
In my opinion, no other FPS comes close to Dust.
That's all it is though; an opinion. If you think Dust sucks, then it does, for you.

I don't do that anymore. I won't deny that I used to do it before the matchmaking changes though, and that was because I wanted to make sure I had the best chances of winning. Losing a match wasn't fun, and so I tried to make sure it happened very infrequently.
Now though, I focus more on having fun. If I can't find anyone to fill the squad, I'll just deploy anyway. I've found that running with a full squad is now counter-productive to maximising my chances of victory, because I'll end up getting thrown against the rootinest tootinest pubstompers you ever did see, usually with uneven teams.

It's not quite like that.
Before matchmaking I used to prefer full squad stomps, because I was a scrub.
Now, I prefer better, more fun matches. Most people will tell you I still play in a full squad 95% of the time, mainly because I have many friends, of a wide variety of skill level.
What I mean is that if you try to bring a full A-team into a pub, you're more likely to get steamrolled yourself. That's because Scotty thinks your full high-mu squad can take on a full 16 average players, which it can't, especially in Skirmish.

I'm not only playing against scrubs. Not only am I having more even and difficult pub matches, but I'm also becoming more active in PC.
