Maybe there are a few charity groups out there in New Eden, like Gallent green peace or Feed the Matari children or whatever...
These guys gotta fight for resources and whatnot, just like everyone else, but they need your charity to keep themselves funded, you could just donate your 2isk a month, or you could take a more direct approach, give them some of your spare time.
Naturally you don't wanna waste too much time/money on a charity (helping those less fortunate, who cares right?) So you just spare the odd clone here or there.
~~~ Pointless intro over... ~~~
Everyone wanting to help donates 1 spare clone (everyone's got one laying about doing nothing.) When your clone dies, the game is over for you, but if someone else has signed their name on the charity form, they will take your place and continue to fight the good charitable fight!
Usual 16 a side, no null cannons, just supply depos.
The longer a supply depo is hacked for, the more **** it drops for your chosen charity... The game will end when one team runs out of people (donating their time) or their charity crate is full (just use the MCC health bar, but have it fill up instead of empty... woop woop.)
Supply depos will not auto re-supply, instead you will have to select your suit to re-supply, however this will take away from the charities supply, so beware of wasting your ammo! (& obviously nothing says "helping the kids" quite like selling guns!)
No squads, it's a charity... Their admin can't handle that (Scotty's overworked as it is!)
Prize earned depends on how much stuff your "charity" managed to grab, rather than wp.
Thoughts, ideas and insults go here!
pffthahahahaha charity gamemode..
You know what I wonder? How there isn't a zombie or mutant gamemode. I mean, what even happens to all those clone corpses left on the battlefield?
Crazed scientist collects bodies and experiments on them to make an army of the undead/mutants and mercs are sent to planets to stop the hoard. (Co-Op or one side plays zombies/mutants)
Zombies/Mutants have special abilities that mimic natural loadouts(Going invisible, speed, goliath, etc) and they use different attacks based on what class they are.(Claws, acid spit, rushing like a tank)
Zombie/Mutant classes are random per death and both sides have a chance of obtaining blood skin weapons.
4/1/2015 at 3:05pm history was made. CCP Rattati announced the new matchmaking system.
