DUST Search - Strongbox BPO's too rare?

It seemed that strongboxes received a nerf after the 5MCC. I say this because all of a sudden I started getting TONS of advanced AUR trash when even 2 days before that I was getting all viable proto AUR gear at least. I really wish they had not cause I would love to take advantage of the sale on the 225k pack and open all my boxes.

I have opened a few hundred boxes and only gotten a POS Brutor logi BPO. I am also seriously sick of seeing these quafe missile launchers and vehicles in general.

They certainly were not nerfed. They were buffed in a big way based on community feedback.

Give me the probabilities of getting a bpo,

1 in 10
1 in 100
1 in1,000.

What's the point?

It could take a lot less or a lot more. Knowing your chances doesn't do anything good.

For me, it will give me an incentive to open the cracker jack boxes.

If you get a BPO in a strongbox, you should count yourself lucky. If you expect to find BPO's in strongboxes, then the drop rate may be too high. Hand/Eye coordination cannot be taught. For everything else there is the Learning Coalition.

Ahh so that's why I felt my luck had changed. Still awesome! 4 Blueprints out of strong boxes so far, that plus the officer gear easily made any aurum purchases I made recently, 100% worth it. I have another that has all kinds of Quafe drops from BPO's to Vehicle BPC's and a phenomenal EOM loot drop rate.
