It's working fine for me. Seems to work well for both veterans and new players and I tested it out. There are a few issues that need to be addressed, though. Squads leaving matches for whatever reason (good or bad) being the primary issue right now.

I just noticed you didn't mention at all what kind of matches you're experiencing matchmaking problems in. So this brings me to a very important question.
Are you referring to public matches or are you referring to factional warfare?
If you're referring to public matches, please mention which modes you're having problems with. Make sure to send a picture of the end-of-match results to CCP Rattati (either with a smartphone or a screenshot if you can) via email at [email protected]
If you're referring to factional warfare, that would explain your problem because that game mode doesn't have any matchmaking. CCP intentionally left it like that those who don't want to deal with matchmaking and prefer expensive fights. It would also explain why you had to wait 30 minutes for a match to get into. I never had to wait any more than 5 minutes for public matches but I definitely recall having to wait 30-45 minutes to get into a factional warfare match.

Anyway, I started a new char and I've wrecked everyone. In the top 5 90% of the time, matchmaking's workin' fine and I'm lovin' it. As for butthurt vets, your rage amuses me. You get what you deserve, to be wrecked by other vets. I am HAPPY that your experiencing that.
CCP has mentioned that they are occasionally switching matchmaking on and off and analyzing the results. Then they make adjustments based on the results. They're also relying on players like you and me to report on any edge cases that came up on your end.

How many rage threads pop up 5 minutes after turning it off? Where'd you get this info? Official Matchmaking thread?
No need to be mean about it, alright? I was just helping people understand here and it's completely unnecessary for you to be hostile towards me like that especially when I'm just trying to be nice.
