Because of the new match making Dust is slowly coming to the end of its time. I see some of the old dust veterans are quitting Dust I think the match making should go back to how it was before

faction warfare is unaffected by matchmaking. que up for that for 2 hrs and do something else until you get a match. |

I saw names i haven't seen in game for ages.
I don't know what is happening in the rest of the world, but i see very few mass quit and some old players coming back this week.

Honestly I've not had a single badly matched game yet. I've had a few games that only been 10 v 10, but they have all been so well balanced it was amazing.
These are easily the best few days of DUST matches I've had yet. I am not getting your experience at all. |

The first days were lopsided, but everything seems even now.
Hell, I was in a 5v9 and it was freaking awesome, even if our squad was outnumbered.

I remember last summer when all the DUST deep thinkers were tallking about how when "Destiny" came out DUST would become a "ghost town".
How'd that work out?

I got into a match 5 vs. 10 today, and you know what? It was friggin even!!!
We 5 won against 10, but barely so...I did not expect the matchmaking to
be so...accurate yet funny.

I played 5 or 6 pubs today and they were all horrible. Switched to FW, but that's only around for an hour or so of my normal play time.
It pisses me off when the majority of my team isn't doing anything. Maybe it shouldn't, but it does. I Think this matchmaking could be good, but the incentives need to be buffed big time to make it work at the highest tiers. |

Yup, I can vouch to this.
Sure there are instances we have unbalance team count i.e. 5vs10 or the other way around.
I have a match also where the redberries have a squad and for us none, so it's redberries squad vs random blueberries.
I think at first we have balance team count, then one by one some of our blueberries left the match.
I think they weren't in a squad probably disconnection issues?...
Anyway we only have 6 on our side vs 12 of them.
So I did what I'm good at, as being a scout.
Took out their links, sabotage stuff like their links.
And of course knifing them  , In a way I help out our dwindling team.
But we still got defeated via MCC.
So button line here is, there are times where your random blueberries team mates are not your average joe.
They will still put on a fight, especially with the *newly* implemented matchmaking.
Scotty might put us on a match, of where you have somehow equal experienced players.
So this is a good thing, having matches that are not so one-sided or so. (but it can still happen those one sided matches)
So yeah, I scored 11/2 on that match and was the highest on both side. for the redberries they were on 5/0 or above.
But my score is not the point, but this just shows that putting guys on the probably the same level
as theirs is equal to a good match.
Again CCP, you guys need a pat in a back..so thank you and keep it up.
and while your at it fixing stuff, please include hit detection fix and *other stuff in game core mechanics . |
