Only problem with the train map is the attacker is always doing the same thing, spamming explosives from above, and then taking the objective. Then the defender turns into the atacker, rinse repeat. The only thing that breaks this cycle is if enough people hold the roof, and prevent the attacker to drop on the walkways...
Ther should be an option, to get to the walkways from the node level.
Also the homespawns out of the redline are often camped, this is especcially a problem for noobs, but can be countered. I would prefer a passive scan in theese areas though, so that you see enemys camping those spawns. |

If core of game is fine there is mostly minority of these issues. If core of game is broken you must accept this behaviour of some and in bigger amount.

You work to hard and don't receive the credit you deserve from a majority of players. Veterans can see the difference in DUST and just looking at old game play compared to what we have today its come a hell of a long way. With Valkary and legion in the works I'm ippressed with the level of attention we still get as gamers and big kids. Thanks bro

I'll bet 100 million ISK that I get the train map on skirmish 50% of the time. Then about 20% of the time I get the old school map with the table top in the center. |

With the way the match maker is working and with people abandoning tough fights it makes plenty of sense to put you back in the same match.
Or if you repeatedly leave matchs get flagged and be unable to play for X minutes. Whether or not you like a particular map when you back out after the match maker has done it's thing you screw over both sides.

CCP im sorry but that map just sucks the spawn points are to close in to the point . calling in rdv,s is just messed up when your be in the open flat ground but the game said you cant call in there yet calling a rdv on a hill or cliff and that's ok to drop ! Da F....! spawn camping at start spawn is like a must in this map buildings and even the ground its self is like if it was made from Command and Conquer Generals World Builder buy a 6 yr old. ( you cant tell me and us players its not that bad when a lot of the buildings are ether sunk into the map or floating over the ground or closed box,s that you can put up links next to and inside so players cant get out when they spawn. the ground its self is so uneven that driving anything can kill you.
i can go on but i think you get my point the map and all the maps need to be FIXED be for you go saying you like anything about any of them when a lot of players most of them from beta want to put a foot up the devs that made the maps .... as well as the guys that said ok looks good add it !

It really is like 80 - 90% for some of us. I know that it is just bad luck but there is something in the rotation that once you sync up with it you can not play any other map. I have logged on and played 6 battles in a row on the train map before rage quitting after the 7th time I got it.
This is a perfect example of stats not representing the real world. I am glad to hear its being worked on tho.
In the mean time can you switch out the train map and the MCC construction map in the rotation? There has to be a way to like swap out their IDs or something. I am still running into people that have not played it a single time and I myself have only had the pleasure of playing it 3-4 times since its release. |

I really enjoy the train map, I think it's a fun, well designed map, yet even I think it comes up way too often. I think I got it six consecutive times yesterday.

I've never played on the mcc map yet! I only play domination though, so that's probably why :P
But I get the train map over 50% of the time. Sometimes I can make loads of ISK from it, but sometimes it's a total stomp, and one side keeps the other at their home base for most of the match.
I miss the gal research facility - I've not seen it in over a week! |

^This! Jeez. The new MCC map is awesome once you get to know it, but it's hard when you only see it once a week. I have easily played the trainyard map an average of 10 times per session.

Just wanted to say that I for one have only played that map the once (the MCC construction map) and it confused the hell out of me! haha. Meanwhile, I have had days where I play the train map 3 or 4 times in a row!

I have played that MCC map about 6 times now, and it's much more varied in how to aproach the objectives then the Trainyard map. |

The gameplay that I have seen in my few experiences on that map was absolutely great.
It has lots of vertical gameplay that works in favor of everyone not just myofib scouts. It is also nearly impossible to redline a team or be redlined on it which may partly be because people do not know it well yet.
Also its size and ability to attack from different directions so easily makes it non stop action as oppose to the usual routine of well they took out our links so I have to spawn at the MCC and either call in a vehicle or run 2000 meters to get uplinks behind the enemy.
I for one think they need to stick this thing under special contracts and let us choose to play that map as many times as we want to both learn the map and give CCP a huge amount of data on how well that functions because I am looking forward to a lot more designs that work in a similar fashion. I would not care if there was any match making to it or not. It can work just like FW and start once 32 people have hit go.
