People forget these squads are organized AND on mics calling out your positions - and that is how they are stomping you
I think glitch strafing is a much much bigger issue (and would solve some issue with proto gear)
This game drives me insane sometimes (when I get killed from behind or around a corner I eff-ing lose it)
But You tend to complain a little too much without backing up your arguments - this means you need to dig deeper and find out if your playstyle is not working or the game is truly broke.
ie: proto stomping argument valid - possible solution - mode for new and intermediate players

I can, from experience, say that proto isn't the problem. Me and a squad of some Molon guys faced off against a full Gallicus squad the other day, all in proto, some using officer weapons. We wrecked them, and I personally was using a STD dual sidearm fit of mostly BPO.
Like others said, it's problems like the MinAssault's super glitch strafe, and the broken ass AmAss with Scram that's breaking games.

I wouldn't and don't care bout PRO in pubs but when it's against RANDOM players , to me that becomes a problem . Place those same players against like minded / habit players and then you will see a change .
A lot of these same players that do this ONLY do this because their playing against RANDOM players .
That's where the disadvantage is .
You just can't place these people that play with each other on a daily , know one another's strength's and weaknesses , can call out objectives ( from mics ) and coordinate ... playing against RANDOM players who don't have the same like minded cohesiveness or opportunities .
How is that fair and how would that encourage RANDOM players to keep playing this game .?. for what , to be target practice for the REAL lesser players because if they were so " great " like they proclaim , they would want competition against like minded individuals .
I guess that doesn't make sense ?
If your coordinated , how is beating up on those who are at a disadvantage ( not in a squad ) ... going to make you or them better ?
It was CCP looking at this like it wasn't important and those in the community taking advantage of their lack of fundamentals .
This should have NEVER been a topic to begin with .

I'd rather see a change to payout system to disincentivize use of prototype equipment in pubs, rather than flat out removing the ability to use it...(I.E...actually make it a risk)
