The public should help CCP out, give them figures, do you want to have legion happen or dust to live on PS4with huge improvements and an active fixes team or not? DUST has potential, but CCP is killing DUST by calling it LEGION,

If they had to give us the axe, it would ultimately be fine because there is also a thriving market on PC. Not saying it shouldn't be on PS4, but the lack of scale in our community makes us prone to execution for monetary gains. Contests, Sales, Writing etc Fly Safe

I think ensuring CCP treats the community that has allowed Dust to survive with respect is essential. Throwing them out in the cold by doing a PC-only port would be a trashy move I agree. Any development for PC is also development for PS4 as the PS4 architecture makes it incredibly simple to port from PC to PS4. Valkyrie development is for PC with a PS4 port for this reason. Combining the teams makes literally no sense, each team is made up of developers specialising in the tools and techniques used to create each of these genre specific games. Each of the games can have interconnectivity but they cannot be combined into a single framework or engine, their too diverse for that to happen. from a technical standpoint its also impossible. The fact that DUST has become profitable on the PS3 shows that DUST on the console was not the failed experiment they thought it was. I expect that they are exploring both PC and PS4 options, and won't tell us anything until they make a final decision. Expect an announcement at Fanfest 2016... Hand/Eye coordination cannot be taught. For everything else there is the Learning Coalition.

You are very wrong there, the problem wasn't to put the game on console, that move was actually a smart one. The big FU was the non existing proof of concept before the development even started. CCP seems to be quite a chaotic bunch of developers, where people have a less than stellar track reckord of developing concepts into actually functioning game assets. The CCP way of working their way around ideas without actually brainstorming the viability of them is scary. Otherwise they would have never gone for the carbon engine in the first place in early DUST development. There should have been a professional proof that it's even convertible to the ps3... this obiously never happened. For all the people who think that Dust integration in EVE would be any good, check out the pathetic captains quarters, walk on station crap they gave the capsuleers, if that's any sign of their capabilitys in the pc sector, I woudn't get my hopes up! Another thing is the fundamental flaw of having everything in a single shard universe they are so proud of. Right, you can interact with everybody on a single server. But that only works for a klickedeeklick game like eve (time delation) but not for a real time fps. And that's the reason, that Valk will have no connection to EVE but the art assets. And that's a good thing. They need to find a way, to have an EVE connection, without any lag translating from EVE to Dust, otherwise a more meaningful EVE Dust connection is not going to work without even more lag! And they should start with the chat system, which they seem to be working on...

The console being a major limited was a fairy tale put forth by CCP to mask the numerous troubles and failures they've run into internally. Dust was always destined to outgrow the PS3, but it wasn't destined to be removed from consoles entirely until the fail that was the push for Legion, which has all but collapsed at this point. "CCP, masters of crafting PC games, the noobs of console games, we give thee our finest PC games, please accept them with open arms, and please forget our ruined console career") well it is different, personally I think that DUST needs to have major core fixes, a stable 30-50 FPS, (An end to the red line and the removal of red line sockets) better interface and SP systems, major re balancing, more variation from non-blood things (Like EVE ORE ships and special things.) the removal of AURUM items, a better market system, and much better comunications. the list goes on and on, but you can get what I mean. The public should help CCP out, give them figures, do you want to have legion happen or dust to live on PS4with huge improvements and an active fixes team or not? DUST has potential, but CCP is killing DUST by calling it LEGION, Hey CCP, Please Don't. (Say no to Legion! Let Dust live!) Dust was ment to be played on a PC, why they put it on the ps3 is anyones guess. Dont put dust on ps4 they will just keep failing. Put the stupid trash game on a pc so people who play eve can play it. Starter Fit Suits are OP :-)
