Not to bash CCP for this, but they are making LEGION for PC simply because 'it's easier to code' and because they don't have to wait to install updates, like EVE. at that point, CCP can finally combine the EVE and DUST teams into one, all three CCP teams then just work on PS4 and PC (I think Valkyrie is PS4 don't quote me though) making the entire EVE universe into a single workable game, effectively making a huge upcoming, they hit quite a few game circles, EVE, the ten years 'Yeah I am a vet with a billion SP' people, a infinitely playable game, an FPS, and valkyrie.. still cant remember what this is going to be on. it looks like a possible cash gain and a lasting image, this is what I think it will be.
"CCP, masters of crafting PC games, the noobs of console games, we give thee our finest PC games, please accept them with open arms, and please forget our ruined console career") well it is different, personally I think that DUST needs to have major core fixes, a stable 30-50 FPS, (An end to the red line and the removal of red line sockets) better interface and SP systems, major re balancing, more variation from non-blood things (Like EVE ORE ships and special things.) the removal of AURUM items, a better market system, and much better comunications. the list goes on and on, but you can get what I mean.


The public should help CCP out, give them figures, do you want to have legion happen or dust to live on PS4with huge improvements and an active fixes team or not? DUST has potential, but CCP is killing DUST by calling it LEGION,

Name a game being completely developed purely for PC.


Every game out there is developed with thoughts of porting to console or launching on console.


There are more big titles and high rated games that don't come to PC but are on console.


PC has better potential for gaming? There was a time when Game developers built games for next years PC hardware capabilities.. Not even being able to run the "Ultra" setting until next year and thousands of dollars of investment later... When game development was being pushed the hardest.


That is gone.. Games are built with a possible console port.... Even Elite:Dangerous as it will be coming to the Xbox one.


We would be blind fools to think that CCP Shanghai is currently developing DUST without any thoughts or work and making the assets transferable and workable on other platforms.

If we could spam enough threads we could get them to work on getting dust to ps4 if we do so....

Dust could be ground forces and legion space marinnes boarding stations taking them over ect.

If what I've been told is true, he doesn't. Just a company line handed down to him and nothing more.

But honestly, the game shouldn't be going anywhere near PC. It shouldn't have ever even been announced on PC -- They made a console game and invested in a console community. To turn their backs on that community is a really scummy move. To announce for PC and then not deliver is an also scummy move.


But ultimately, there is no established PC community for Legion. They can just as easily take it or leave it. The console community are the ones who would truly be getting screwed over, and they are the ones who deserve this game.
