Don't you think that 3 are a little excessive?
I would not mind having 3 fluxes, but AV nades were where they should have been.

Flux nades can at least double as AI and AE. AV grenades have one purpose and one purpose alone... though I've heard you could shoot the things to get them to explode. Not actually sure on that one. Three seems perfectly fine given how limited they are.

Three is good as of now.
Close quarters infantry are a danger to tanks again.

So does other weapons if you think, what you don't take in account is that they are almost always used coupled with an AV weapon multipling their effectiveness, not counting the tendency of AVers which have suicidal tendecies and almost always go "all in" (at least is what i do everytime i play as AV).

The Plasma Cannon and Assault HMG can do well as AI weapons, but they're about the only ones if you're not counting RE's. If someone is willing to toss away an expensive fit at a mere chance to kill a tank, let them. Three AV grenades don't stop that tank from rolling away. Now... if this game had vehicle disables like Battlefield and WoT, then it would be a different story, but no matter how much damage they take, they can just keep rolling.

I can only get one to the target if the guy is smart and runs. I think all the hades need to go back to 3 and be un-nerfed. Especially the "OP and spammed" contact made. They were never used but nerved the hardest!

No. They still can't kill a tank by themselves. However, if you get a squad of them?
All bets are off, as it should be.

It really depends on how you go about hunting down Armour HAV. Higher Tier AV grenades are very threatening to Armour HAV simply due to how quickly you can get all three thrown...... couple that with an Assault HMG and boy does that hurt. First day of the patch I had two LAV worth of AHMG sentinels chasing my Gk.0 around quiet literally preventing me from leaving the redline.......but kind of abandoning the rest of their team in the process.

I think I will try that LAV AHMG with PRO AV nades method. It sounds like it could work for me. |

Everyone is saying Madruga = need for 3 av grenade... Well the Madruga has a few fits that make it stupidly OP, so I'm not sure how much this can relate to balance.
Lower tiered tanks are thrashed by a few proto av grenades on a pogo scout... Sure this is fine in balance terms, but I think it's time AV started to cost a little more, especially at protato levels. |

Honestly its probably the nastiest and least expected means of obliterating a tank.

Min assault with RE's, swarms, av nades, and stacked myofibrilwhatever or a cloaked scout doing the same thing.
they hop over the tank back and forth so it cant hit them while they rain HOMING av nades and swarms that dont miss, and RE's as icing on the cake. thats a bit much
its not that av nades themselve are an issue to me. they arent. its when they get spammed and simply thrown around casually without ANY skill at all.
i would reduce their seek range on all normal av nades and then reduce the seek range to zero for the packed av nades.
OR
give swarm launchers a minimum range they need to be at before they can lock onto anything. say 20m?
WHY? because they run up to you (sometimes cloaked) spam av nades then fire swarms at you and you cant even shoot them because your turret wont aim that high. you cant defend against cloaked anything as a tanker.
either use av nades or use swarms. if youre close enough for av nades you should be too close for swarms. if you can lock onto a vehicle you should be too far away for av nades.
next hotfix were getting vehicle mounted homing mass drivers that seek out infantry...
some stuff is just flat out stupid |
