I have a lot to say about the hmg, it sucks now, all the people gripe about how a heavy is a very overpowered thing just because of its golden weapon, the hmg. The hmg. The hmg is a litteral "Death engine". The point IS that it is a gun that fires at tremendous rates is purly symbolic to its nature, it is a devastating weapon,ITS A FREAKING MINIGUN! The weapon is good for close quarters combat. Its a weapon that, like the shotgun, is supposed to be a real Health biter, the damage nerf has litterally made the gun very much an ineffective weapon, it overheats much faster than What its bonus can even be used for, longer you fire, the tighter the spread=better accuracy.

I digress, this weapon is useless now, its lower damage, and awful hit detection has litterally blown the concept out of the water. All I get is kill assists, the only way ill get a kill legitamatly, is If I use a boundless hmg with a complex damage mod, everything is Able to completly massacre me before I get close., which is the way it is supposed to be to an extent, but when my bullets cant do anything to a minmatar, or an ammar assault, I have issues, this isnt right, the heavies of this game might as well as give up, some people say that the heavies should shut there mouths, they got the assault hmg,(which by the way, for an assault variant does not hit any farther than a regular hmg),can blow up vehicles at an amazing rate, and its damage is really high, yes its good, but when the hit detection is completly off, heavies are at a huge disadvantage.

I used the mh-82 for a while today, and I got killed alot by combat rifles, assault scrambler rifles, Remote explosives, melee bashes, and all of the sorts that I litterally couldnt protect my self against because of how badly the hmg is operating, up close, I get destroyed by anyone now, all because of the hmg nerf, and the steroid buff that was applied. I heared alot of people say to me that a heavy is the most overpowered thing in this game, and that a heavy is hard to kill, im here to say no, thats not true, a heavy is slow the only weapon it had against you was the hmg, Where all you had to do is shoot the heavy at a range, move behind it, distract him/her with other tactics, use the most op weapon in the game, the Remote explosives, which no one really uses on any vehicle, which What it was originally meant for... Or plainly just strafe! A heavy is weighed down.

The heavies were just socked hard by this nerf, and sadly, there where other ways to Fix the hmg issue, for example, make the weapon not a pull trigger fire weapon, how about making the weapon rotate first, instead of the instant fire, or even a fire rate nerf. This truly screwd any player WHO enjoyed being a heavy, thank you ccp, for nerfing a weapon that never really needed to be nerfed, the only thing that gave heavies an edge in this game, which I dont know how much longer im going to really look at... Who knows maybe the heavies will get another weapon that they can use with out being called some type of stupid name because its a light weapon.

Maybe ill see you all on the battle field, or maybe ill just give away my corp wallet and give this *once* great game up finally. you have no idea how hard it is to maintain his KD, especially since he is targeted EVERY game...imagine trying to uphold a 70 KD every game, and the only realistic options are MCC sniping, using a scout (yes, for real) or tanking....especially against OP AV weapons he does a good job. Not saying he ISN'T a scrub, but it is hard to do what he does (not getting caught by 2 tanks, knowing when to retreat even when you are not being attacked, finding dedicated tankers to squad with you)

Right now, he is using an alt account to test out the new tanks and see which tank he like best before he tries it on is main account

HMG is in a tough spot. Cuse is right, you should diversify.

The good news is that the Assault suits are in a good place right now. Pick the one that pairs well with your chosen light weapon -- I'd suggest the ARR or AScR -- and a sidearm that compliments it (i.e. if you have a shield light weapon, choose an armor sidearm and vice versa) and just practice.
