After a few volleys of swarms on my python, it switches my f**cking seat and then Sh*ts me out the drop ship... I've turned vibrate off, on the controller... however, that is not making a difference... it's always after a few swarms hit in quick succession. It is p*ssing me off beyond belief.

Is anyone else having the same problems?

I have this one controller that after every 6 six taps of the R1 button brings up the over map... Might need a new controller.

All I know is that swarms are to easy and strong to use in av. Pythons NEED a shield buff. One blow if a plasma cannon and you'll be knocked to the closest object and die.

This happens to me with all my controllers. It's not just a controller issue, it ONLY happens with Dust514. No other game on my PS3 has these missed inputs and I have a solid theory about what is causing it.

In the programming of the Analog portion of every button on the DS3, developers can control what happens at 10% depression all the way up to 100% depression. Even the DPAD IS ANALOG.

Perhaps in an effort to have "super tight controls" they have set many of the controller's buttons to a very low analog setting instead of using the DIGITIAL signal from those buttons. The slightest hiccup could send them off.

This is just a theory though.

In any event, DUST514 is the only game where things go off completely on their own, with any controller I use. Sometimes it ejects me, but the most common thing to happen is bring up map view or scoreboard.

To be fair, hitting a moving dropship that isn't being stupid with a PLC is pretty tricky. To also be fair, collision damage in general is stupid high and needs to be dialed back.
