I like to call it the new super donut, whether alliance leadership wants it to be or not. lol, get an opinion that matters first then maybe will someone will care how fat you want to get with donuts. Why does everybody pick on fat women? Don't they know it's just more woman to love?

Let me go ahead and save you from your doubt. The witcher is an amazing as hell game. The two games are actually quite different. I bought both of them on sale during Christmas, best steal I ever had.
The first game is relatively challenging, in that the combat is a lot more realistic than Skyrim. For example, you can't pause, and drink a crap ton of potions right in the middle of combat. You can do it if you hustle away far enough. You also can't loot corpses after killing them, as you'll get smacked up by his homies. You also have to have info on the creatures you're fighting in order to reap the full rewards from them.
Also, don't play this game for the sex scenes. I don't usually have sex in games, but this one was just so abysmal, it has to be mentioned. It literally is a background of you kissing the back of a woman's neck, then on the front you receive a card depicting the woman you had sex with. I once, in order to do what I would've considered right, had to have a four-way with vampire triplets. At first I thought it was going to be a decent scene, then one of them transformed, and I got a card with some ugly gray skin bimbo who I swear lost her chin in the transformation.
The second witcher, from what little I played (I prefer playing in chronological order) is 1000x times better than the original witcher, and I love the first witcher. Combat, from what I've seen, requires twice as much preparation. You can only drink potions while in meditation mode, and this mode is impossible during combat. Usage of bombs and spells are essential, even on normal mode.
Another thing about this series in general, is your choices matter. It's not like Mass Effect (not knocking ME, love the game, but...) where your choices say they matter, but they don't. And there are no shades of black and white. Pretty much every choice is yours, they don't try to steer you one way or the other.
Oh and if you get the 2nd one via steam, it says it comes with wallpapers and an OST. If you want those, you go to library, tools and find witcher 2 bonus content.
Phew, several apologies for the long windedness.
