But everyone was doing their own thing. granted, the combined might of the alliance could be a serious issue for the PC community, nothing indicates that this was a serious aim. But the potential alone is enough when it comes to psychlogical warfare. Me, I enjoyed NF. Now that we put our Naughty Ninja tags back on, I accepted a position in Smart Deploy alliance. I'll actually give you a proper answer: As some of you know, I am/was the CEO of TRE (The Rainbow Effect). Our corp was small but relatively strong in EU, the problem however is that people generally don't play much. I booted 30+ members for inactivety and as far as I know, nobody even noticed any difference. It came to a point where even having a squad online at the same time was indeed a rarity. This wouldn't be a big issue due to our nature of being a pure ringer corp. However, due to PC changes nobody seems to wanna pay up 15 M isk for a 5 man ringer team anymore. Internally we had some brief discussions about our future, a merger of some sort was in the air. The first step was to rejoin the NF alliance, which frankly is the only alliance I've ever felt at home in. Then came the news of the future changes involving corp warbarges and it basically seems like having some numbers of actual active players in the same corp will yeld various benefits. At this stage, we have now had some practice PCs with a full team of NF (the corp) and its actually quite nice not playing with a mixed up ragtag team consisting of 6 different corps. I also personally like the balance of not being uber elite while still having a fairly high average skill standard of our members. In regards to mr Kane Spero, well frankly, I don't mind his leadership at all. First off I'd like to say that all major decisions regarding alliance etc is discussed within the leadership. So I don't agree with your assesment there. I also very much like to have someone as dedicated as him doing lots of the tedious organising bits of running an alliance. (He seems to like it after all) I as many others, am quite happy with bringing forth my opinion from time to time, cause for the most part, I just wanna shoot stuff in the face. I think a lot of that has to do with people being a product of those they are surrounded by. Personally I prefer to ignore the shadier aspects of the meta and just be open with my intentions. Right now, my corporation wants fights. A lot of people in NF seem to feel the same way, so it seems logical to be there. Whether they are in the form of ringing or not, doesn't matter too much. Not super important to be holding a ton of land or anything. Just want fights that force us to do better the next day, and preferably get paid. Whether you want to be a part of the same organization or not, I respect the decision either way. But you're more than welcome to tag along on our fights anytime you want some action. We're probably both after the exact same thing in that regard. Usually banned for being too awesome.
