give them sp and hope to god they don't put it all into snipers and start trying to trick-shot and get skills that do nothing.
or like someone said pretend to die, give them some fun games and tbh there are new players all the time that stick, the ones that leave are the ones with desticle or the ones who cant handle the complex/challenging game concepts, large maps, different game experience compared to everything else and the vet player base. |

Seriously, a MLT fit and unmodified melee is viable against a Heavy in one of these "battles".

create a PVE game mode where you can have a small map that places a single bot in the middle that just stands still and nothing else. you can select the bot to have any dropsuit and can modify the name of the bot.
then the newbs can pretend they are taking revenge on the one that killed them 1 too many times that day. |

I see some sarcasm a little bit off ideas filtering to the surface, this is what I think should get done CCP needs to remake match making by having three tiers off pub match making a proto a advanced and a basic this way recruits can enjoy on the level competition and when they are ready for proto stomping they can dive right in and have that level of competition so maybe the DUST ranks can grow a bit, just my thoughts.
