Last week's most common map in rotation was Boulder Rim (the train map) by far. My corp mates and I started suspecting that map rotation may have been broken since. I decided to take incentive and see if infact that was the case - it was indeed.
Disclaimer: Keep in mind that I'm not counting battleground as maps, just the sockets. Most of the fighting takes place in sockets in some battlegrounds. Battlegrounds that are socket exclusive are Ashland, MCC Dock, Border Gulch, and partially Boulder Rim. I also take breaks in between playing sessions to it may be inconsistent at some points.
Circulation Spreadsheet
According to the data the Gallente Research Facility was by far surpassing and overshadowing most other sockets. I personally did not find myself playing on either Manus Peak or Border Gulch this week, Ashland was almost not seen at all until 2/27-2/28.
It also appears that some maps are seen and then are not seen again until the following week.
For example, the Gallente Communications Outpost was seen on the 2nd and 3rd day - not seen at all the rest of the week. The two new maps, the MCC Dock, and the Giant Structure (don't know the name), were seen but mostly overshadowed by others.
Do look into this immediately and may this data be of use.

Thanks
I took a look on saturday at all maps and battles, because some players were tweeting this issue.
I did not find an obvious error, and all the maps are being rotated in similar frequencies for all modes.
I will still take a look at your kindly collected data.

I fought 3 times on the MCC map since warlord came out and maybe 30 times on boulder rim... And yes, some maps seem to have nearly disappeared of the rotations. I had lots of fights on gallente lab the previous week, but these last days only once. |

I will still take a look at your kindly collected data. Just some thoughts: If we're using random map selection right now it might be a good idea to improve on that. One could, as an example, save each player's last or last two maps and then - after taking 32 mercs from the queue - choose the map that has been least observed by these players.
That of course only works if the battleserver is initialized after the players have been chosen.
P.S.: I'm really curious how we can have this many map variations yet get evenings where an individual players sees 4 consecutive times the same map and same socket set. ... On the other hand these events are extremely memorable. If I've been playing for over 700 days almost daily there have to be a few sets of repeated maps. Deviating from random map selection to enforce map changes sounds like a good mid-term plan. |

My group is getting the train station 60% of our battles... We have had it go B2B up to 7 times IN A ROW!
Played on MCC yard twice since release. I now see tabletop once a week. Old pipes are common, as is the red pipes.
Alpha on train station is a no fly zone for pretty much everyone I know.
{put links on buildings, then catwalks, then it flops, then red team does exact same routine} Boring.
Me and my best corpmate have built a set of suits just for the frequency of that map, and all we do is troll the outside ring of map.
P.S. switching modes does not stop the madness

Sometimes I'll go weeks without seeing a map.
I've only played on the new one a handful of times. |

is it possible to track how many people leave the battle at the start of the match?
The map rotation could be generated as normal but if everyone is leaving the match after finding out its Boulder Ridge, cycling in more players, then it will effectively have a higher rotation

Also anecdotally I see Boulder Rim and the Gall Research Hub very frequently. Have never seen or played on the New MCC building map and only once on my favourite Manus Peak in the week and a half I've been active.
