Sp is the most valuable content in this game, and the only thing that actually helps new people out. not 20 keys where 90% of the boxes are weak @ass advanced suits and garbage modules, not 1000 warbarge components when it still will take 3 to 6 months to max out to level 5 without aurum. Ooh a secret BPO? let me guess are you going to introduce something that marginalizes all the bpos your original player base bought last year? are you going to give us a new cool skin dude? you are asking the player base to do more for less. i am personally putting uplinks up high, running proto, using needles, logi'ing non stop, and all the other crap you've seen people complaining about in GD.

During the March 4 11:00 UTC - March 9 11:00 UTC period, should the total number of clones destroyed in New Eden reach 5.000.000, every player that won at least three battles during the event period, shall receive the following items on March 10, 11:00 UTC:

x1 Event-exclusive BPO (non-consumable) item - revealed on 10th of March, 11:00 UTC via Dev blog and in-game
x1000 Warbarge Components
x20 Decryptor Keys

A few notes and conditions:

• Only clones actually destroyed are counted in public contracts, and not deaths. This means that if you kill someone that is revived, and then kill them again, this only counts as one destroyed clone, not two.
• Clones killed by friendly fire are not counted towards the total. Shooting your friends in the back is junk data.
• Active characters for this event are defined as any character that plays and wins at least 3 matches during the event period.

Anyone know the current Biomass count? I know it was at half a million around 10am EVE time this morning but there's been no update on Twitter since then.

My guess for BPO is LAV. With the changes to vehicles & the recent sale on the vet pack LAVs will be weak & plentiful, might as well give them to all participants.

I think they update 24h. Btw we're at about 2.5 mil

See, maybe I'm just having delusions of grandeur but I see this as something completely different.

1) Clones must be destroyed, not killed.
Does this also mean that we may see additional warpoint rewards in the future for destroying clones instead of just incapacitating them? I'd love that. A sort of 'Confirmed Kill' bonus.

2) Event exclusive BPO
Even more interesting considering that there is a strong drive to roll out SKIN modules in the future. I assume that this will also be tied into the unanswered question as to what will happen to BPOs in the eventuality that SKIN modules are released. Further more... an event exclusive BPO would have to be broad-spectrum and apply to everyone. Releasing yet another Caldari Assault doesn't apply to the majority of players. So my theory is.....

3) 1000 Warbarge components
.... that it's a Warbarge skin.

4) Also, props to not including -more- SP rewards when we don't even have enough skills in game to make skill points meaningful for anything other than cross specialization at this point.

You acquired more than enough SP via those previous challenges. Now it is time to put those skill points to the test and show us what you got!

Maybe it`s time you take our suggestions to heart, put our suggestions to the test and show us what YOU got! Newer players are struggling to keep up and get ahead. It`s a long uphill climb to level up and make decent fits, and I know a full 2/3 of newer players give up, the odds are stacked against them. They could use the SP, I would think. Or do you care that new blood turns away from Dust in disgust and frustration before they can get into it? By the way, it`s pretty damned cocky for you say we got more than enough SP from the previous Clone Events, don`t you think? How are you qualified to decide? Neither you or any other Dev plays this game, except for the rare time you test new code? I had plans for that SP dammit.

I didn't take part to any previous challenge since I'm a new player. SP is the key to progress, not warbarge components and decryptor keys. Exept the BPO, wich I'm not even sure to use, none of those rewards are worth 5mil clones. All we want is SP.

I want the BPO and the Warbarge components and the decrypter keys! I think they are great prizes! The only people complaining they want sp for the event are noobs that actually need the sp.
