I am guessing you are new, and as such you have an SP disadvantage.

Your best option is to get involved with Dust University, I think their chat channel is D-Uni, but I probably got that wrong. Squad up with the people there, they are good with new players.

For that matter, try squadding up.

Scotty reall is a matchmaking bastard so there is always that to contend with.

If you get super frustrated, take a break from the games and hangout in the forums. You can learn a lot about how to play, particularly in the Rookie Training Grounds where there are a lot of good how tos and whatnot.

When you get back to the game, you will have some more SP to spend, and a better idea what to do and how to do it.

You have to be a trend setter.and inspire people to try.

No one is capturing a cannon? Be the first. Get a CRU and give everyone the opportunity to spawn in.

No one is defending A? Be the one guy who chooses to make a defense.

You have to be the one to make the difference.

Also, get into a group of similarly minded guys. Get in a good corporation or chat.

There's a world of possibilities out there. You just have to search.

Every time I play, I'm usually the only Blue point defending, with some stray bluebs running by and killing off extra baggage only to run off or die. I take pride in my job, none shall capture my Alpha, none shall leave without holes in them. The most fun I've had with this game in years.

 And Aztec isn't lying.

He's not lying, but the problem is not people doing it because they don't know how to play, they'll figure it out during the match eventually. But the people who deliberately do their few WP and then decide to "save" their K/D. Just sayin-

You can't. Back during closed beta and alpha more people used their mics on team chat and could actually coordinate a way to win which was pretty fun on a 2 stage skirmish 1.0.

Basically squads are both good and bad since they completely separate themselves from the team at times and blame them if they're losing. Some squads collectively stop putting up a fight if they enemy is tough making it even harder to win.

There always has to be a losing team each match though so don't expect to win em all.

Unfortunately, this is by design. Until the design changes, your best bet is focused fire. Squad up and stick with your greens. Learn to spot the "pubstompers". Leave match when you see a lopsided roster. The stompers are looking for crap matches and minimal resistance; you don't have to stick around to entertain them.

The game was different when I started. A newbro behind a vet had a good chance of killing that vet. This isn't the case any more, and the majority of vets like it this way. But there is hope as there is new vision at the helm, and NPE (New Player Experience) is a top priority.

Hang in there and keep grinding. Things get better fast.
