It's like a switch in my brain flips from "Average player" to "HOW 2 SHOT ENENIMYS?/" the instant my fitting costs more than 50,000 isk
I have every light weapon in the game except the laser rifle and shotgun trained to operations 5 proficiency 3 but I very rarely even equip advanced weapons because of this. If you see me with a proto rifle in the killfeed, I'm 10 seconds away from getting my ass handed to me by a starter fit
The trick is to just buy, like, 100 suits at a time. Run exclusively Proto for a couple days, and you'll stop getting worried about losing it.

I'm bad at saying no. Sometimes, I'll end a match with double the WP of the next guy, and a much better K/D. What I'd really like to say to my squadmates is 'YOU'RE FCKN TERRIBLE. YOU, INDIVIDUALLY, COST US THAT MATCH.' But I can't because I know and am friends with them. In this situation, I normally just leave the squad and pretend to be afk.

Not very many in our corp, and a few in the Nova Knifers United channel. In some ways, that channel has become slightly 'contaminated'. Don't get me wrong, there are good players in that channel, but recently there's always been the one guy that goes 'hurr durr dis is mah new fresh-out-of-the-academy knifing alt, let me squid wit u dries'.
