Since the 17 or 18 or this month's i've been unable to get into dust....DOWNLOADED DATA FILES CORRUPT. PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER.. that what i'm getting over and over again.. I deleted every last thing on my ps3 and redownloaded dust with no improvement. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong or what I did wrong . |

Few posts like this, only fix ive found is mashing X until it finally syncs took me 28 minutes for it to work. find something to do while u do it.
Worked for me 3 times in the past.

Same problem here in Oz . I deleted the game and reinstalled . Sent a ticket to support and got the reply "Hello, this is GM Archduke.
Thank you for contacting the DUST 514 Customer Support Team. Please accept our sincere apologies regarding the difficulties that you are experiencing in connecting to DUST 514. It has been noted that some ISP's tend to intermittently filter out some traffic, and in some cases, they filter the connection to our CDN (Content Delivery Network). Can you please try to contact your ISP regarding any possible filtered contents? In these cases we can only suggest to try downloading the game with different regional and network settings - using cellphones as a hotspot has been mentioned by other players as a possible workaround. Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this issue may have caused.
We do apologize for the inconvenience this might have caused. Do not hesitate to contact us again if you should require further assistance.

I contacted my ISP and they said they don't filter anything .
I hope there is a fix soon . |

I know the problem is on dust side. I had a lot of problems in the past but it never bother me cause I was always able to login .but now it's extreme. I even changed my Internet company to get better service When I started playin dust a few months back..now I got a useless ps3 cause dust is the only game to ever interest me beside devil may cry n god of war which I don't like anymore... imma send ccp another ticket and hope this trash is vex.. it might be hard for me considering I live in a french country down in the caribbean...and I was actually going to buy aur, a lot.... lol guess I just save alot of money

Hello,
I have the same issue, attempting login, synchronising gets to 2% the reverts to attempting login. after failing 6 times, the client gives the message 'downloaded data files corrupt, please try again later.'
this occurred on system software 4.66 and also on 4.70.
I have deleted the game and he save data, re downloaded the client however the problem persists.
It was suggested elsewhere on the forums to keep pushing x to retry, and it would eventually login, i tried this last night for several hours whilst you tubing , but did not work.
any tips on getting logged in ?

i kept on pressing x to retry, lost count after 50 plus tries, now the client is able to synchronise.
i did not change anything on the console, just kept pressing x to retry, and it now allows me to login. I hope your client allows you to connect.

unfortunately yes, totally serious :)
i wish i was able to say why it worked, it just did :) i put on a movie on the laptop and just kept hitting x to retry, an voila it finally worked after days of doing so..
hope it works for you eventually

i had tried using wireless connection and with a lan cable hooked directly to router with the same results. 2% then retry.
When the connection finally worked, i was using wireless connection. so i am not sure that the type of connection was the issue.
i had not played dust for a long time, and started trying to connect also about two weeks ago, hitting retry repeatedly roughly every two days for the past few weeks.
i might add that i own two playstation consoles, and tried to connect on both with the same result. i have not however tried the second console since i have been able to connect on the first |

That's strange. I am not encountering this problem at all and I just tested it out. Are you sure it has nothing to do with the ISP? I have the PS3 Slim 12GB.

I have had the same issue since around the same time as you. I've completely wiped and reinstalled the ps3 then dust with no luck and got a friend to try log in on my account on a different ps3 but they got the same problem. Also have had no response to the support ticket I put in.
