Wich one do you recommand: Flaylock pistol or SMG? I personally prefer SMG but I would still like to get your opinion on my fitting:

Light Weapon: No need for a change here, it is your own personal prefence what to use Sidearm: Perfectly fine with me, in fact the SMG is very good on the Assault M-1 so I recommend it if the weapon fits you Grenade: Looks good to me, keep saving up that SP and you will prove to have an impressive aresenal of gear to choose from Equipment: Medic eh? This is also your personal prefence, although I suggest the Nanohive because trust me, you will run out of ammo quite often. High Slot: Looks Good, you should save up some SP to get better shield extenders Low Slot: Now, here I suggest using 2x Reactive plates because while the Armor plates do give you very good protection, if you lose that protection, your not getting it back any time soon. Reactive plates will give you less protection but at the same time increase your armor repair speed so you can get back in the battle quicker. This is a very solid fit, keep trying every possible combination you can think of and use the ones you like. If you need in game help or want to squad up, talk to my buddies at Y.A.M.A.H. You can contact them in the pub chat Y.A.M.A.H and friends pub. I am currently unable to play until I get back from vacation in a couple weeks so talk to them, they're a great group of people.
Thanks for your advices, I'll try them and see how it goes.

If you feel that you want to join Y.A.M.A.H but you want to get to know us, join the chat room listed above, "Y.A.M.A.H and friends pub" (without apostrophes). If you feel you are sure you want to join, send in your application. If you do not know how to do it I will tell you the steps below, if you do know how to do it, you no longer have to listen to me. Step 1) Select your character for Dust 514 and log in Step 2) Go to the neocom (Press start or L1) Step 3) Go to the "corporations" section Step 4) Go to "Search for corporation" Step 5) Search "Y.A.M.A.H" with all the capital letters and periods included Step 6) Once Y.A.M.A.H has popped up in your search click on it and select apply, you may write an application if you want or you can send in a blank one. Either way someone in Y.A.M.A.H should accept the application and voila! You're in Y.A.M.A.H.
Thanks. And BTW I'm using ferroscal plates instead of reactive plates. I'm getting enhanced ferroscal plates tomorrow and I now have enhanced shield extenders. This guide really helped me out!
Always report to tomorrow what you can do today, because you might not have to do it anymore tomorrow.

Man thanks! Here's what my fitting looks like now:
Assault M-1 Light weapon: GK-13 Burst Assault Riffle (I sometimes replace with GEK-38 Assault Riffle) Sidearm: Recruit SMG Grenade: Locus grenade Equipment: Compact Nanohives High slot: 2x Enhenced Shield Extenders Low slot: 2x Enhenced Ferroscal Plates
With that one, I really rock compared to before. Thanks again!
Always report to tomorrow what you can do today, because you might not have to do it anymore tomorrow.

Use 2 enhenced ferroscal plates. More expensive, but gives you almost the same hp as armor plates and doesn't have speed penalty.

I see your reasoning, but the way I organize my suits is by using gear equal or lower to that suits tier. This is mostly for minimizing cost while still maximizing effectiveness. However let's try your method but with basic ferroscale plates. They will give me a boost to my armor by 77 points while still maintaining a sprint speed of 7.35 m/s. However with a basic armor plate and a kincat, I will have a plus 93.5 bonus to my armor, while still having a 2.25% bonus to my sprint speed. I see... but I curently use 2x Enhenced Ferros on my STD Logi fit. Will it be better if used 1 enhenced armor plate and 1 kin cat?

Kinz will only affect your sprint speed. While that is useful it is not the same as keeping your manoeuvrability in a firefightGǪ either while Repping or fighting. Ferros will serve better in the thick of things than taking an extra bullet (more or less). In that case I would rather use reactives.
Yeah but I hate rectives because of penalties...

XxBlazikenxX wrote:[M7] The Scout Suit
The Minmatar Scout is one of the best assassins in the game, as it focuses less on EWAR and more on dealing damage.
It is unique to all the other scout suits, the other scout suits focus on scanning capabilities, and capabilities to hide from scanners. However the Minmatar Scout is all about speed and power.
The scout bonus is a 15% reduction to the cloak field PG/CPU costs per skill level, and this is a blessing since the cloak field really drains a lot of PG/CPU. The bonus specifically to the Minmatar Scout is a 5% bonus to hacking speed and nova knife damage per level, once up to level five, this makes you super deadly.
With the scout suit, patience is your ally, don't go running in and trying to kill everyone. See who is straying from the group, who is not paying attention, 9/10 times you will get the guy who is not paying attention.
Here are some recommended fittings:
STD
Suit: Scout M-1
Light Weapon: Assault Combat Rifle Sidearm: Nova Knifes Grenade: Flux Grenade
High Slots: 2 Basic Shield Extenders
Low Slots: 1 Basic Kinetic Catalyser, 1 Basic Codebreaker
Equipment: Cloak Field, Remote Explosive
This suit is made for speed, hacking, and assassinating. With this suit, always take the scenic route and flank behind the enemy team and donGÇÖt let them know what hit them.
The Assault Combat Rifle is for engagements where you donGÇÖt have anywhere to go, the enemy already saw you, and you are too far away to do anything with nova knives.
Nova Knifes, go behind the enemy time, and slice and dice until you see a +50 on the screen and you did the job right.
In the low slots, you see a Basic Codebreaker, what these do is decrease the time it takes to hack an objective and an installation, go behind enemy lines and confuse the enemy by making everything turn blue to you, and red to them.
For equipment choice, cloak field is a given, and remote explosives are for setting up traps for people to walk into.
ADV
Suit: Scout M/1-Series Light Weapon: Assault Combat Rifle Sidearm: ZN-28 Nova Knives Grenade: Flux Grenade
High Slots: 2 Basic Shield Extenders, 1 Enhanced Shield Extender
Low Slots: 1 Enhanced Kinetic Catalysers, 1 Enhanced Codebreaker
Equipment: ARN-18 Cloak Field, F/45 Remote Explosive
This is a little bit of a step up in survivability, you have more speed and more hacking speed. With those advanced nova knives youGÇÖre going to start making people look behind them more often.
The advanced cloak field is a lot better than the standard, and I do not recommend you use anything above advanced. The F/45 remote explosives are also a lot better than standard REs and you're going to start blowing up people, and maybe even vehicles.
PRO
Suit: Scout mk.0
Light Weapon: Assault Combat Rifle Sidearm: Ishukone Nova Knives Grenade: Flux Grenade
High Slots: 3 Basic Shield Extenders
Low Slots: 2 Complex Kinetic Catalysers, 1 Complex Codebreaker
Equipment: ARN-18 Cloak Field, Boundless Remote Explosive
You might notice that you only have room to fit 3 basic shield extenders, this is fine because the Minmatar Scout focuses on it's speed, although a little extra survivability is good.
The Ishukone Nova Knives, in the right hands, can decimate a team, and be the deciding factor in a battle. With these you can probably one shot most medium suits, and two or three shot most heavies.
With the two Complex Kincats, you are going to move fast, and I mean FAST. With the codebreaker, you will be scaring the wits out of the enemy team by turning everything on their side to you're side.
The cloak field is explained above, and the proto remote explosive really packs a punch.
Again feel free to make changes to these fittings as you see GÇÿfitGÇÖ (see what I did there?)
Shotgun and SMG?
