Match Omega wrote:whats is your best method would u say that u deal with scouts never run around by yourself. in pubs gallogi and scanner, or squad with people who have maxed scans if you haven't maxed out gallogi or are other race. know what scouts do too, where they usually flank from, after awhile you can sense them because they do the same old **** all the time. if you are an amarr logi run with with a PLC and a BP, the high alpha damage makes scouts instantly fuk off. there is no way to completely avoid scouts because 80% of people run them, one thing you can also do if you are solo is get an uplink up high where scouts can't easily get to so while you are repping blues at an objective or something other blues can spawn in. also, squad with people who play aggressive. trust me, i'm also the best logi in the game |

I know some great logis, who consistantly score high in pubs, but couldn't shoot their way out of a paperbag. Sad truth is, most of these guys dont fare well in PC. A rep tool doesn't kill enemies. If you can down some reds and revive and rep the blues after, that's what seperates the men from the boys. yeah man that's why i think that amarr and gal logis are the best ones. |

jane stalin wrote:My question is "Sometimes my level 5 amarr plays a big role in winning the match when it puts an uplink in the right spot, Is there any way to use the caldari bonus just as effectively?" amarr excels because you only really need to put one link down at a time, and by the time it's destroyed or depleted you will already have cycled your team through to help capture/defend the point or whatever you are trying to do. logis also need to kill things, and having the ability to use a alpha damage light like a plc, or a AoE wep like a mass driver, or AV, then switch to sidearm is straight up good. cal is extremely situational. best map for it is meat grinder because there is a depot nearby, or 50 clone ambush when you know it's going to be a zerg.
i'm lazy so i'll paste what i was saying recently about cal logi: "cal logi is underpowered for many reasons, and i'm sure if ccp showed us the numbers on how many people use them they would be shockingly low.
in order to run cal logi at it's max potential you have to do a couple things. 1 is run it proto in order to get the 3 equipment slots. 2 run a cpu upgrade, which makes the 5 highs and 4 lows worthless because ultimately you have the same eHP as everyone else, but with less regen, damp, stam, speed.
because of the cal logi's bonus (which is an awesome one) 2 of your equipment slots will be dedicated to various hives, making you lose out on a needle, uplink, or scanner as the other one should be a repper. problem is there is very few maps/situations where hives will stay out long enough to benefit the team. i would say the best use for a cal logi is just run proto hives in all slots, drop them then switch out to another 32 BW logi/cal logi with repper, needle, scanner or hive
because of how easy it is to destroy hives and the other problems stated above, cal logi is the absolute worse logi for PC." |
