The problem is the fuse on grenades is too long for the pathetic damage they do, so people use REs instead.
EDIT: Oh, and their crap capacity too. |

People whine about REs for the same reason they whine about snipers: because you can't beat them by spamming them with an assault combat rifle (aka: the "right" way to play) |

See, this is an actual gripe, because it's an exploitable part of the game, like LAV/HMG heavies. Not someone whining "I don't like this style of play, take it away!" |

REs should have a longer activation charge and the damage/range from the RE should be looked at. That would make them pointless. What I'm asking for is a "hack timer" or something that immobilizes the soldier dropping it so it can't be used as a breaching tool, but a trap, as intended.
How is using them as a trap the "intended" use? They are remote explosives. They blow up and kill/destroy crap when you trigger them. That's all. I don't remember reading "use for traps only" in the description. |
