and if you come up against 6 guys all runnign full proto it doens't matter which you run cos they'll tram straight though it. the thing that leads to stomps is the full squads. its a simple idea
2 heavy 3 logi 1 cal scout with range amps
(or swap logi/heavy round)
the scout picks up any uplinks and the squad farms them and jus tmoves round and round farming uplinks. until smart deploy is sorted then people will get stomped because it takes about 30 clones for smart deploy to think "oh hey s**t. my guys are getting f**ked the hell up if i drop them there, i better not do that no more"
someone many moons ago came up with an idea that teh spawn map is divided into 4x4 grid. you pick a grid to spawn in and it drops you somewhere in that square. if you dont have scanners and drop in on reds thats your own dumb fault. as it stands smart deploy is too stupid to prevent the uplink farm stomps

I don't think it's the fact that people have prototype suits, but more that you get 5 or more people running proto AND travelling in a group. Attacking one flares the attention of the entire group, which fires upon a player with prototype weapons.
Again, no squad public matches..
all the big names will claim they can still stomp in mlt or std gear yet i proposed NoPROvember as a player created event. oddly all the loud mouths wouldn't take part

Again, no squad public matches.. So people that want to squad would do what? PC and FW? If they do this they should remove skirmish as a public gamemode as there is no reason or purpose for a skirmish if it's all solo players. People that wanted squads could run regular public matches, people who don't want squads could run squad free public matches. Skirmish would work just fine without running squads if they team members knew what they were doing. The point of having no squad public matches as an extra option is to prevent stomping. Why not just address the fact that the problem is with people choosing to deploy over and over again solo in a game geared towards squad and team play?
to be fair a player should be able to play solo if wanted. if the match making was working as CCP intended with the MU then there wouldn't be such a problem, solo players would be with solo players. the problem with the matchmaking system probably isn't the system itself but the fact there is such little pool of players that you can't help but 'break the rules' and incorrectly match players because there simply isn't any other choice.
and the reason we have such little player pool is because it took so long for decent match making to com ein that any new player was stomped through the floor so hard they just left the game. in the six months i've known 10 players that have just left because they're fed up of the try hards proto stomping all evening and for them its simply not a fun game so they leave to play an easier game

simple solution to this
OK folks. Put your Militia where you mouth is, announcing
MARCH MILITIA MADNESS
from March 1 2015 to March 31 2015 all parties signed below agree to get involved in running nothing but Militia fits. not militia with complex mods but Militia everything. Each member of a person signed ups squad also has to run militia fits as well. many of the guys in here are from the loud mouth corps and alliance so prove the community wrong, earn a butt ton of isk and have a little fun and perhaps show newbies the game can be fun when a*shats arn't stomping them into the ground with superior gear.
Thor is pretty good with corp management, if he;d be up for creating a channel and organizing something between general tso's too it'd be awesome. i knwo some guys in opposing corps and alliance and we'll get together in one big a*s militia chat channel and perhaps meet some new friends

Count me in! Only way I see this backfiring is that the loud mouthed big corp proto runners may just see this as an opportunity to mow us all down like grass...but hey, all kinds of fun to be had!
probably. that was their excuse for not doing NoPROvember lol i'm always running BPO stuff. i think i need to buy a new Nomad vX.1 cos i've worn my old one ou thahaha

If they are destroying you HARD in PRO gear, most likely they will destroy you hard in militia gear too, just slightly less so.
so you/they/them have nothing to worry about by taking part then have you

I've just made my mlt fit for next month, now to test it! My Quafe Assault fit is this if you're looking for one. 100% free. Quafe Assault Dren/Exile/Toxin Assault Rifle (Forgot which one) Syndicate SMG MLT Damage mod BPO MLT Armor Plates MLT Armor Repairer x2 MLT Injector
pretty much what i run lol i have 2 plates and a rep and nanohive though. i've made my own 'frontline' suits using all my BPOs i own liek templar set, covenant, c-II, sentinels ect. only thing i need is a quafe HMG and i'm sorted but i will have my dominus fit shortly so that kinda covers that
