My head is spinning due to the abundance of groundless QQ lately.
The only real complaint I can sympathize with is the 5% damage subsystem, but whining about the factories, labs, etc and box/key/BPO/C distribution and other stuff is just asinine.
Dust is there! I was real!

If there was a doll and someone asked CCP where Rattati touched them. CCP would have to become a stripper because of lack of self respect and humility.. |

Overall? Good update, with a "meh" atmosphere to it, mostly due to the people's reaction to the amount of Aurum stuff brought in.
However, unlike many actual "warriors" on here, I understand that this is the first step that needed to be taken in order to actually provide what CCP has delivered on.
Would it have been good if there wasn't so much Aurum monetization? Yeah, of course. Am I justified in crying that I HAVE TO BUY AURUM TO DO WELL? Not really. I can get keys without Aurum and still have the same chance as x vet to get some goods.
But is it justified to scream and yell foul that everything you wanted immediately isn't here yet? No, since there needs to be a foundation for those things.
But that's my 2 ISK. Wanna pass the popcorn there BLOOD?

But the first step for CCP's recovery is admitting they have a problem. CCP just keeps coming home with a puke stained shirt asking for more money...
The community is tired of it and seems to be putting together an intervention...

I don't know what the war barge does yet, because I didn't spend aurum on it.
If this game was fun, I wouldn't be playing it.

*eating popcorn* If people were expecting this to be huge "recovery" while knowing how ****** CCP is (by their words, not mine, though I agree to an extent) then do they have a right to complain?
What do you mean by "puke stained shirt" though? Content that is ****** because monetization? Yeah, I did mention that this would have been something to avoid. I should've added though: IF there were no plans to flesh this out, or if the objects were only attainable via market Aurum...which forum warriors have actually managed to whine enough about to get done...congrats. Now, if it were content that is ****** because it isn't fleshed out yet? I think bitter vet syndrome has finally cracked everyone then if basic building blocks are being tossed out the window.
I have to wonder what it is people were expecting from it though? Were they expecting free, maxed out warbarges right from the get-go? If so, then the issue lies with them and their "Oh, I've spent $xxx/xx years playing this, listen to me you terrible game designers!". Were they expecting some GAME CHANGING new object to just be immediately put in, without having set anything up prior? Well, then perhaps you should also yell at everyone else who starts out building the basic frame of a house for not immediately having said house ready for them to plug their PC's in and complain to CCP.
But again, my 2 ISK on it. I'll just continue to play, spending $20 every month or so, getting stomped/stomping the same people over and over until PC and Corp barges are introduced and Player barges are fleshed out. And if it's bad at that point, then there will be many reasons to justifiably complain.

To keep asking for more money when bugs are still as active as they are is reason enough to complain. How long have these "Warriors" as you call them, been asking for these bugs to be worked on? Too many.

"Puked stain shirt" as in the game still has major programing problems but according to CPM and the little info we get from the dev team those problems can't be fixed because of the lack of talent in house..
So instead of actually communicating to the "community" they just keep adding fluff and Aurum **** to the game.."asking for more money" for a continued problem" that seemingly gets worse after each "update".. And has no real long term resolve besides liver failure and resentment.. |
