80 clone ambush? Closer spawns... Installations to hack... longer time limit... Sure 150 WP is more then reasonable.

But 50 clone ambushes? the average max WP scores in these matches are around 1k WP and it goes down quick from there...

80 clone ambush, Skirmish and domination? 150 WP is perfectly acceptable.. Almost generous. On a 50 clone? It makes no sense.

And now that 50 and 80 clone ambushes are under only one selection for game modes... Your rolling the dice as a solo casual player to if you even have a chance to score points before the match ends, if you're choosing the ambush option.

For this reason I will opt out of choosing the ambush option for the foreseeable future or until this is addressed.

Luckily I came in third with 285 WP so I got my SP but 9 people on my team did not break the 150 WP mark and 6 of those 9 didn't break the 100 mark. Nobody on my team AFKed with possibly an exception for the dude in last place (0/0 KDR with 0 WP) but that person was most likely thrown into the match at the last minute because this match went by too quick to give someone the opportunity to get to a place so they can go AFK. I truly feel bad for my team because in this match they were truly ****** over in terms of earning SP.

The match I just played was a 50 clone Ambush match. No installations to hack and both teams were literally spawned right on top of each other from the start of the match. It was an immediate clusterfuck of death. I am amazed I got my first two kills as fast as I did.

The fact that 9 out of the 15 people on my team did not earn SP shows that this new system isn't going to work out. We need to find a new way to handle people who get low WPs in a match because they don't do anything so we don't screw over people who happen to get protostomped.

You are suggesting 9 of the players were supposed to put on scout suits and hack installations, I mean it is great if 1 person does that but if 9 people do that then on the front line it is 7 versus a powerful 16.

I'll roll a few ambush matches (got a few daily missions I gotta grind out anyway for the keys) and see how many players dip <150 WP on either side. I have already been in one and gladly left battle so really its whatever.

In a stomp scenario in ambush.. when one side gets wiped.. Completely killed off their main spawn.. That team never gets a fully effective 16 mercenaries back onto the battlefield.. They will be lucky to get half the team effective against 16 already established mercenaries. unless the spawn flips them to the other side of the map where the wiped team has time to recover.. 50 clone ambushes are amazing.. and should be the entry level game mode... But the entire game mode needs to be tweaked.. If the maps where shrunk and tailored for the game mode.. Stock spawn locations where well thought out and defended. Spawn logic actually placed teams in defensive and competitive locations... Installations where tailored for the game mode. Instead it's a completely randomized grind fest. and feels lost.
