Well, might as well think this through logically. List the pros and cons!!!
Pros: High DPS Alpha damage <----------(might have to check) Fast ROF Reload speed ADS zoom-in multiplier (how far you zoom in) No spool-up time Hip-fire kick minimal ADS kick minimal hip-fire & ADS dispersion minimal
Cons: Overheat mechanism Clip size Weapon reload glitch (go to reload, it charges a shot for you) Seize time damage Distinct sound of charge shot Only efficient on amarr assault (dies very quickly to gallente assault's with combat rifles) Heat/second doesn't judge shots made in second (abused by turbo controllers)
edit: Who thinks they need imbalancing now?? QQ INCOMING!

It doesn't have dispersion in ADS nor does it have a good zoom when ADS.

Heat don't matter in any assault
Everything Dies quickly to Combat Rifles
The Magazine size is huge for a single shot weapon and the Assault version is good too
People using modded controllers is the a fault of the weapon
Reload glitch is avoided by reloading. |

My only beef with it is that it is supposed to be a tactical weapon but is treated as a spam the **** out of the trigger type weapon.
Same goes for CR.

The CR being a burst weapon was silly anyway. The Assault variant should have been the default, it fits the Minni lore better. |

Hardly I'm a AScR scout I don't engage heavies at all unless absolutely necessary. Controlling an engagement is growing exceedingly difficult in the two suits that can effectively use the normal ScR what with insta-gibbing shotty scouts, the random spawning ect.
When it works out its fantastic. And unless its a dom match its rare to be at that perfect engagement range.

I've gone CQC with the ScR using both K&M and DS3 and the only thing that makes it a good CQC weapon is the auto aim controllers get. K&M users have a much much harder time using it in such fights.

I gotta agree with this. Add in aim assist and it, in my experience, hurts.
But I only find it raping me super fast in CQC when someone is autofire controller'ing.
which is why I agree with this
