I actually like the changes.
I actually get rewarded for trying even when my team is losing now.
Sometimes I can actually make ends meet while getting stomped, while the redline snipers get less benefit.

several games its not just my squad but other players as well who have low warpoints and i guess are also not receiving skillpoints because of it
Like someone else said, play Skirmish.
Its much more Noob friendly. You don't have to worry about smart spawns, maps are larger and easier to get around. You can hack things and defend points etc.
Maybe fit one of your Logi's with Dampeners and and Uplink, have them run around towards an empty objective, lay down your link, and have your whole team come in? I guarantee hacking it will bring some company, and you will have time to get entrenched and gain at least a few WP.

Evie, if you know smart spawn doesn't work, then don't play ambush.
There is no sense in getting mad at something you know exists but can avoid.
I don't think I have heard one person who likes smart spawns, but many of those who do not, like myself, almost never play ambush.
Save yourself the headache and play skirmish.
