I've found Dust a relatively easy sell - just because it's free to download. But once you've convinced someone to do that - it's up to them to take the leap and accept total death for the first few weeks.. No matter how many times I say "be prepared to die lots" some people are still shocked beyond repair..

Having said that the ones who've stuck with it are in it for the long haul.

The game's crashed a few times noticeably returning to the old days of will it won't it. But generally speaking (and I think the vet pack deal has helped immensely) this feels like a thoughtful update and very encouraging for the coming year. I'm sure there's been a few thanks threads already but given that we are quick to moan when things aren't so great I'd like to thank the team for making a decent update. I still feel the strongboxes need some work to make the aurum spend on keys more tempting. GÇ£All that I know most surely about morality and obligations I owe to football.GÇ¥

The games I played yesterday were generally really close and were really fun. Gotta say, all the balancing has really improved the overall gameplay. Games are much more fun and interesting with a variety of weapons, suits and tactics. Only things left to sort out, balance wise, are tanks and the odd weapon. There are always tweaks that could be made, but I don't think there are many major issues. I know Warlord is separate to balancing, just thought I'd say. Exciting to think how Warlord can expand upon the foundations laid in this first patch.
